The staffs were very friendly and they have no problem speaking in English. The menu can be challenging as not everything are mentioned in English but don’t hesitate to just ask the waiters (in my case I didn’t under the differences between €23 & €27 buffets so I just asked). The meats were very delicious and it came a lot. If you want specific stuffs, they will get it very fast for you (I asked for fried pineapple and they came without waiting for too long). They got varieties of meats and side dishes but I definitely recommend just focusing on meat. Otherwise you will get full very easily.
If you are not the buffet kind of person, you can just order menu. The confusion which some people had were. If you are there for all-you-can-eat buffets, you can go inside the restaurant and wait around this bamboo decoration where it does says “all you can eat”. Also the waiters will ask you if you made a reservation and if there are enough seats you will get seated without any problem. There are menu option where you can take the tray and get in the line just by the entrance (right side and you can’t miss it). If you take that option, the chance is very high that you will be seated outside )just like regular mall dining style). If you took the buffet but waiter made you seat outside means you most probably didn’t made any reservation during busy time.
I made a reservation through the fork site (which I highly recommend to do to avoid all the hassle) and I got my seats without a problem inside. The only problem I had was it was very very hot (but I am super used to the cold so it’s not their fault).
Overall, this is one of the popular meat place and I definitely recommend people to eat here if you are a meat lover. The drink prices are reasonable and if you are a big eater, you will definitely satisfied and happy about coming here.
Big shoutout to the staffs who are not only friendly but hard working as well! One of the worker was just “next level” when it comes to collecting all the dirty dishes.
One last thing, this store is located in the 4th floor (the main floor entering the shopping mall building is 5th floor). So you need to go 1 floor below (I got confused as the shop doesn’t have a general overall floor plans and if you do want to check it out then you will need to go to right side of the main shopping mall entrance as it’s where information...
Read moreFirst if you’re looking for authentic or even a Portuguese interpretation of a Brazilian steakhouse, then this is not for you. Its location in a mall in Chiado. The entry to the restaurant is takeaway food. The seated restaurant is in the back of the restaurant. The salad bar is terrible. No signs to say what the items are, fish dishes kept under warming lights for who knows how long, sauce/salad dressings(?) separating from the heat and lack of stirring, the hot salad bar items are so overcooked and dried out that they are inedible and everything is poorly seasoned. We ordered the expensive South American packaged that includes a better grade of meat (?) French fries & salad bar. I’m not a big meat eater but my carnivorous husband thought the meat was somewhat dry and flavorless. I personally thought the pork was the moistest meat and the garlic beef had better flavor. The servers are wonderful. They delivered our drinks quickly, came around frequently with meat offerings returned quickly when I asked for salt. We have nothing but positive things to say about how hard they worked to give us a positive dining experience. The beer was cold. Pretty much the positive about this restaurant is the servers and the beer. Our meal was 70 euros....
Read moreI was looking forward to visiting this restaurant based on the reviews and the photos online. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff who seemed to be the manager, and promptly seated. Overall, the meat was fine, but there wasn't a lot of it - there were a lot of staff, but only one of them walked around with the meat, and there were gaps where we had to wait for more food to arrive, which is unusual in a Brazilian rodízio. What we had was of mixed quality - the picanha was very good, whereas others, such as the first one, I believe fraldinha, was dry and overcooked beyond belief. The meat wasn't the main issue, though. The food in the salad bar looked iffy to say the least, from completely wilted salads to suspicious looking potato salad that seemed to be have sat there since lunch time. We had a little bit of food, the one that looked ok, but that was a mistake, as we found out hours later when food poisoning struck (and no, it wasn't from other places as we hadn't eaten since lunch, and ate nothing after going to this place). It was an unfortunate end to a sad restaurant experience. We'd been to other Brazilian restaurants in the city and this one...
