Hi there,

I am editing my review since you requested it. I originally did not go too deep cause I do not want to affect the staff, who were nice and friendly to me (just one of them was rude).

I had been there once before and the food was ok, so I decided to go back and try something different from the menu.

I ordered the zucchini fritters with salmon. The dish looked pretty, but it had maybe one or two sprouts as decoration. Somehow I was expecting a bit more ‘greens’ as it was written on the menu. Any case I proceeded to eat the food just to find out the fritters were completely raw on the inside and had a rather unpleasant texture and flavor, it was like eating dough, with cream on top and a poached egg on top. The mix of them all felt unfortunately a bit off and I kindly asked the staff member who originally was taking my order and bringing the food, if this texture was normal.

She seemed confused and went to get another member of the staff, whom instead of trying to change the plate or cook them more just replied with a dry and rude “that’s how they are” and left.

I started feeling sick in my stomach but kept eating as it is quite a pricy establishment for the rest of local coffee shops ran by local people. By the end i stayed a bit longer sitting down cause of the sickness, when leaving the stomach pain was getting stronger.

After stepping out I quickly ran into the staff member who denied any faultiness in the dish and I told her I was feeling sick and pain in my stomach and that I wish this would’ve been changed.

She had again a rather dry facial expression and no reply.

To this day I feel sick and I visited your establishment on Sunday. It was clear to me that “the client is right” is definitely not a concept in this place, I would’ve been happy if the dish was changed, or I had a coffee offered for free. Instead I left with an angry person looking at me and a nauseous feeling that lasted long and I spent a considerable amount of money for this experience.

Yes, I give 1 star to the atmosphere cause I felt disrespected by this behavior and felt uncomfortable in this place after it.

Hope this...

Just had a morning blast at this hip coffee and breakfast joint in Lisbon – a spot that knows how to kickstart your day with a side of fun.

Hipster Haven: The place screams "cool" with its hip vibe, making breakfast not just a meal but a mini adventure. It's the kind of spot that turns your morning routine into a playful experience.

Friendly Faces: The staff here are more than just servers; they're your breakfast buddies. Super friendly and full of good vibes, they add an extra layer of sunshine to your morning.

Tourist Pricing Tango: Okay, so the prices might do a little dance for tourists, but trust me, it's like paying for a ticket to the breakfast show. The experience is worth the slightly elevated price tag.

Epic Scramble and Sourdough Duo: The scrambled eggs and sourdough bread? Pure breakfast magic. A dance of flavors that turns a simple meal into a hearty symphony. It's the kind of fuel that powers you through the day.

For a breakfast that's not just tasty but also a playful start to your day, this spot easily snags a lively 4 stars. Embrace the vibe, enjoy the friendly faces, and let the deliciousness set the tone for your...

We had a great time at Co-op Layday. It was very busy when we arrived, which speaks to its popularity, but despite the crowd, the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

The food was genuinely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Everything we ordered hit the mark.

One thing that really stood out was the service. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, even with so many tables to manage. We accidentally ordered the wrong drink. We told them we were happy to pay for it, but they insisted we didn’t have to. That kind of gesture shows a real commitment to good hospitality, and it left a strong impression.

The atmosphere was lively and energetic, perfect if you enjoy a bustling setting with a good buzz. It’s clearly a place people love coming to, and it’s easy to see why — great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area....

We visited this cafe before heading to the airport and were drawn in by its cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t as pleasant as we had hoped. Upon seating ourselves, we were quickly told not in a very nice way by (a staff with eyeglasses and tattoos on her arms) to move our luggage to the corner and switch to a smaller table, despite expecting a friend to join us. Later when my friend showed up, we added an extra chair we found at the corner , we were met with a very firm and abrupt “no” from across the cafe, which felt unnecessarily stern. The tone of the interaction was disappointing and didn’t reflect the warmth we experienced throughout our trip in Portugal. That said, one of the other staff members—someone with curly hair—was very friendly and kind, which we appreciated. The cafe itself has charm, but the service we received from one staff member unfortunately left a negative impression.

I recently visited Co-Op and was thoroughly impressed by the delightful breakfast menu and the unique pink latte. The café offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal at any time of the day. The pink latte was a standout – not only visually stunning but also delicious, with a subtle, sweet flavor that complemented the coffee perfectly. It’s a must-try for anyone looking for something different and Instagram-worthy. The all-day breakfast menu was equally impressive, featuring a variety of delectable dishes that cater to all tastes. The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a unique latte and a fantastic breakfast at any time of the day. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Food is good 10/10 Atmospheres are nice decent place have some more extra seating on 1st floor. The concept of the restaurant is modern. the owner seems care about the interior. 10/10 Unfortunately the service wasn’t really nice and friendly. I get serve by a lady with little brown skin not sure if it’s Portuguese or Brazilian. She took out my drinks while I’m on my phone even though I said no please leave it. Basically she just ignored me and just want to clear up my table. While the situation wasn’t so busy it was 3 pm and there’s few table empty. Not sure why she does that. Anyway the whole interaction from ordering to clean up my table also wasn’t so friendly. It’s shame I love the food. But just because of this I don’t think I will return or recommend to anyone.
