This place is a charming, quaint little place that feels very authentic and a great place to try local cuisine.

Our server was really funny and friendly! Absolutely lived the guy. Their soup was definitely the highlight of the meal! It was so soothing and perfectly seasoned. The ingredients were so beautifully complimentary of the fresh bread and olive oil. I got the crepe which was pretty good and it came with boiled potatoes or French fries. I think the fries were best! The crepe was wrapped in a sort of egg roll casing which I didn’t expect. The meal finished with a delicious espresso, super strong!

I stumbled upon this restaurant simply because I was staying nearby—and wow, what a find! From the very first visit, I knew I’d be coming back for more.

The food is delicious—fresh, full of flavor, and served incredibly fast. No long waits, no unnecessary fuss—just great meals at affordable prices. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting way more than you paid for.

We just happened upon this little gem by chance. It is a husband and wife run restaurant and although it doesn’t get the pub that better known places get, it should. This is home cooked food at its best, we had octopus grilled to perfection, pork chops with a home made gravy and fresh cut fries with rice, grilled stickleback, a bottle of vino verde from the Douro valley and a homemade dessert.
