This place is a charming, quaint little place that feels very authentic and a great place to try local cuisine. Our server was really funny and friendly! Absolutely lived the guy. Their soup was definitely the highlight of the meal! It was so soothing and perfectly seasoned. The ingredients were so beautifully complimentary of the fresh bread and olive oil. I got the crepe which was pretty good and it came with boiled potatoes or French fries. I think the fries were best! The crepe was wrapped in a sort of egg roll casing which I didn’t expect. The meal finished with a delicious espresso, super strong! Everything was so delicious especially for how reasonable the prices were. My group loved their fish, and I can’t emphasize enough how amazing their soup was. We’ve had soup everyday and this was the best!

I stumbled upon this restaurant simply because I was staying nearby—and wow, what a find! From the very first visit, I knew I’d be coming back for more. The food is delicious—fresh, full of flavor, and served incredibly fast. No long waits, no unnecessary fuss—just great meals at affordable prices. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting way more than you paid for. And the people? Absolutely wonderful. The owner is incredibly warm, polite, and attentive, treating every guest like an old friend. The service is top-notch, the kind that makes a place truly special. I only wish I could stay longer in Porto so I could keep coming back again and again! If you’re anywhere near this spot, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it.

We ended up here after a long walk touring the city. If you’re not into bread, I’d recommend passing on it since they do the typical tourist trap move and charge for it if you’re not aware. Luckily, we knew about this ahead of time. We ordered the tripe, octopus, and fried pork. The food was good and the service fair. Just a heads-up: it’s cash only. Overall, it was a decent experience, though I wish they had better exterior views instead of feeling a bit boxed in.

We just happened upon this little gem by chance. It is a husband and wife run restaurant and although it doesn’t get the pub that better known places get, it should. This is home cooked food at its best, we had octopus grilled to perfection, pork chops with a home made gravy and fresh cut fries with rice, grilled stickleback, a bottle of vino verde from the Douro valley and a homemade dessert. This cost us 40 euros! Unbelievable value. I am unhappy that we leave for home now otherwise we would be back. Do yourself a favor and give this spot a try, you won’t be disappointed. The dining area is not large but on the second floor and looks...
