Discovering this charming hidden gem amidst the bustling city was a delightful surprise. For around 10 euros, the combo menu proved to be an incredible deal, offering an array of delectable dishes that left us thoroughly satisfied. The heartwarming sight of Grandma busy in the kitchen was a reassuring sign that a memorable meal was in the making.
The flavours that graced our palates were nothing short of exquisite, and the portion sizes exceeded all expectations – a true testament to their generosity. It's worth mentioning that a touch of patience was required when placing our orders, but then again, this is the epitome of a traditional Portuguese restaurant experience. In a world accustomed to immediate service, this charming spot reminds us to savour the anticipation.
And here's a sweet tip: Once your culinary adventure concludes, don't forget to add a coin to the mosaic of memories on the brick wall – a unique tradition that adds an extra touch of magic to an already...
Read moreThis is a family owned restaurant ran by elderly gentleman, his wife and what I presume to be their son.
They have a limited menu that changes regularly. I had the set lunch that comprise of vegetable soup, main, dessert and coffee for €15.

This family-run restaurant is very clear with what it offers - you choose which dish if the day you want to pay for and you get a vegetable soup with bread, drink, dessert and coffee included. At the point of writing the review we paid 8€90 for all of this with the grilled steak and pork ribs options. The fish options were a bit more - up to 13€90 for the grilled cod.
The main course and desserts were not incredible, but they were tasty and large enough portions that we left feeling full.
The waiter (half of the husband and wife duo) was very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
We will definitely keep this restaurant as a reserve to come back to...
