Oh my goodness, this place was incredible. The most delicious food, amazing drinks and the friendliest staff. We visited for an early dinner at about 6pm and were the only ones there - 15 minutes later there were two other tables and by 7pm it was full. It's quite small, so I'd recommend getting there early. Between two of us we had the olives, the camembert, the hummus trilogy, and the beef carpaccio. There was a really good number of veggie options. They also had a brilliant selection of mocktails and cocktails which looked and tasted amazing. Staff were so friendly, checking that everything was good and offering more bread and nachos. Honestly can't praise this place enough, you absolutely must visit. Great location close to the river - would recommend an early dinner here before watching the sun set over the river. It was the most expensive place we ate at in Porto (we paid €60 including a tip) but also the best by far and the price was completely justified by the quality of the food and drink, the location and the...
Read moreI can't rate this restaurant highly enough. We went on a Friday evening and, I guess it had gone in our favor that it had been raining all day, because we didn't need to wait long for a table. I believe they can sometimes be a bit of a wait for a table, however, I can assure you it would definitely be worth the wait.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had a seat inside where they promptly took pur order.
We ordered the "board", and it was absolutely stunning the waiter talked us through everything that was included and gave us some information about all the cheese and meat on the platter. We were given bread alongside and offered more once we had run out.
The picture speaks for itself but this was insanely good.
The cocktails were absolutely delicious, we had a hard time deciding which ones to get as there are so many to choose from.
The waiters were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us, this place is incredibly special and I would recommend everybody tries it...
Read moreAwesome tapas and great staff. My husband and I sat, drank wine, and ate many different unique tapas. The staff even told us ”you’re in your home” and kept the wine flowing; as tourists, it’s nice to feel welcomed! The staff made us feel relaxed and had great conversations with many recommendations about Porto. We were not rushed out in any way. The place was not touristy and is very small (feels more personal and local). We ordered empanadas, 90g beef, and my personal favorite the bruschetta. Everything was of high quality. To drink we had a ginger mojito, which was delicious, and red Tinto wine. Across the street is a fado bar, in case the night should continue. The next day, my wife and I were walking past the place and the whole staff came out to say hello. We thus returned the next night where the experience was equal to the first night, Javier and Fernanda will ensure your experience is fantastic and welcoming. A must visit if you...
