This McDonald's is the one I visit the most when I'm in Bucharest. I've been eating here for 5 years now and I have to say they beat any McDonald's in the USA for service at least. Even when there are long lines here they are pretty quick, if the lines are really long the staff comes out into the line and takes your order. I ate there 5 times last week and at all times of the day (they are 24 hrs) and even though sometimes the lines were crowded, I always got my order and leaving in under 10 min. Most of the time much less. The orders, unlike most of the USA McDonald's, are CORRECT when you get your food. Not all of the staff speak English, the ones that do aren't fluent, so it's good to know Romaneste and meet them in the middle. The food is McDonald's....not my favorite food to begin with but better made here than the USA, everything was fresh and good, their cokes are better because they actually use SUGAR in Romania and not corn syrup....the people working here actually care about their jobs and it shows..the store was always clean and organized and well kept...the bottom line is it's a great place to eat if you're in a hurry...It's always the first and last place that I eat at...
Read moreI respect human beings, so to have some jumped up little tramp look down her nose at me and the homeless man I was buying food for was hard to accept. The 2400 lei that McDonalds boast one can earn in Bucharest in one month isn't even enough to pay rent on a decent apartment in Belfast, N. Ireland where I live. Not because I am better than anyone, I'm just very fortunate, I do not deserve to be so lucky. I am just lucky. Maybe McDonalds should emphasise that if a customer has money it doesn't matter who they are accompanied by. For me it was a human being that has had a very hard life. A human being. Not dirt on her shoes. People who work in your restaurants deserve respect, but when they give none, well, they deserve none. Shameful. One bad experience in a city where every other experience in McDonald's was positive is just that. One bad experience. Nevertheless, the idiot should know better. I will not be disrespected by anyone, particularly not some jumped up little tramp in McDonalds. I'm a writer and a musician, but I am no better than the next person. A basic level of civility is not too much to ask. Someone needs to have a word...
Read moreI think what I appreciated the most about this McDonald's was the decor the decor was very unique and unlike any other McDonald's that I had been too I found it fascinating to see how they were trying to attract I think University students that colors were bright there were a lot of well graphics on the wall and the place was rather big what also impressed me was the array of desserts I have never been to a McDonald's or cheesecake and other cakes or on display in are offered as dessert the food itself was okay but the drinks disappointed me I asked for a large Diet Coke and I got what in North America we consider to be medium Diet Coke and when I looked inside the cup it was three-quarters full when I ask them to fill it up they said this is what they're machine fills the cups too and this is all they can do and that's that it was interesting to see the crowd there were not a lot of seniors sitting around having coffee was more of a young crowd and I found the prices to be higher than the prices at Subway I was kind of surprised at the prices were not cheaper than they would...
