Muura Steak House — Restaurant in Cluj Metropolitan Area

Visited once (might have been an off-night for them - I hope).

We both had burgers which were good, not exquisite, but good in any case.

The waiter (male, eyeglasses) was completely disinterested and after we got the food and drinks, we basically disappeared to him. There were 2 waiters - he had about 4 tables, she around 3. Plates and drinks were empty and the waitress looked at us without question or intent of clearing the table. Our waiter showed up at some point and just passed us by. Again, the restaurant wasn't busy. We had to ask the waitress for the check and then go to the bar and pay because she didn't come back for the money.

So yes, seeing all the good reviews I assume they just had a bad day. Still, not a good look on an elegant restaurant.

Also, 2 tips:

Mind the table edges when bussing a table- the edge of our table had some sticky hardened food that kept sticking to my sleeve

Offer in-house sauce specialties - sour cream, etc. with fries. Putting plastic bottles of store-bought ketchup and mayo doesn't scream specialty...

Short review: DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! Next to this place is Tortelli and Klausen Pubhouse, they provide much better, quality food AND you spare 200 Ron. Long review: this was the worst restaurant experience of our life. Just the two of us went there, and we ordered steak. The garnish was disgusting, to be honest, and we asked for medium rare, but they made it very very rare, like 90% raw meat..which is alright if you marinade the meat for 24-50 hours. BUT this steak has not seen any marinade, I'm 100% about it, because my steak had NO TASTE AT ALL!!!!! NOT EVEN SALT, NOTHING. Same goes for my partner's steak. And their prices are very high for no reason!! Like 300+ Ron for 2 person. Come on, I could buy Wagyu steak and cook it myself for this price, and It would taste at least twice as good as that. So I was sad and angry, and our waiter noticed it and asked if there is any problem, but I knew whoever made the steak, can't make it better, only worse, so I said nothing. But Luca was a nice guy, the only positive thing in that place was his skill...
