Nuka Bistro — Restaurant in Cluj Metropolitan Area

Me and my boyfriend decided to try this restaurant before going to Untold. We toke a sit and started looking at the menu. The entree was good, salmon and cream cheese. As A main we ordered a tenderloin with potatoes with truffle and artichoke. After 15 minutes we received it, but wasn’t the meal that we ordered. Was a tagliata with rocket and parmesan. I said it immediately to the waiter. I wasn’t upset, I just wanted report the thing. At some point a waitress reached us and started to speak in a very rudely way to us saying that the meal was the same, at that point I started to feel very very nervous, because I worked for many years in hospitality, and that was completely unacceptable! I insisted for a while that the dishes wasn’t the one that we ordered, and this waitress started to yelling us treated us even worse, and said that we could get the mashed potatoes and truffle as a side. I insisted that I wanted the artichoke as well, and at that point she started to talk over me saying that the artichoke were in the potatoes( I don’t think that TRUFFLE and artichokes would be the same). At the end I accepted, very frustrated. When I cut the meat I found another BAD surprise; the tagliata was cooked well done, so the meat was completely ruined. I ate it just because I was starving, I didn’t like it at all. The waiter, at the moment of the bill, asked sorry again, I said “don’t worry, I know that mistakes happen, but your colleague was very rude with us”. He gave us the bill and the tripadvisor ticket. I am not sure if I will come back tu Cluj, but I am sure that I never come back to...

Great place, with terrace outside where you can eat. The inside looks also great. We were passing and stopped to see the menu and the dishes sounded good so we stopped for lunch. I wanted paella but for it I had to wait 50 min so I took the burger instead. I have seen paella to another table and I was sad I didn’t order so I came in the evening to try it. I was there too late, the paella was finished. We also tried pork with mushrooms. That was a great dish! My mom had the mediteranean chicken and was very tasty. In photos you can also see chicken schnitzel. For drinks we got beer, mint lemonade, gigner lemonade - was very sour for my taste and I didn’t feel the ginger. I asked for honey and after sweetening it was all fine. We also got Nuka frappe, was too strong for out taste. The staff is very friendly and doing a good job. I really reccomend! My husband and I ate here a few years ago and we absolutely loved it. Had the opportunity to visit Cluj again, so of course, we chose to eat here. This time we were not that impressed. We even brought a couple friends with, and raved about this place the whole way there. Unfortunately, it was a let down, and none of us really enjoyed their food. The service was good, but the food was really lacking.

I ordered the salmon pasta and there was barely any salmon in it. It was just noodles with 2 tiny pieces of meat.

Even the hummus appetizer was not that tasty anymore. Not sure what happened, but unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

I love this place! Been here a couple times and the food is so delicious and the place feels cozy and really comfortable. I really reccomend the hummus it's the best...
