Me and my friends visited this place today. While they all ordered pizzas (which they thought were absolutely amazing), I had a risotto with shrimp. To be fair, the risotto itself was good, however the shrimp was undercooked. I chose not to make a fuss about it and just ordered an additional pizza for myself. However when the waiter asked me whether I didn’t like the risotto, I answered politely but honestly that it was good but I found the shrimp to be undercooked. I ordered an additional pizza and thought that would be the end of it. In a few minutes, the waiter came back and rudely told me that the chef said the shrimp wasn't undercooked. I didn’t know how to reply to that, as I wasn’t trying to argue my way to a free meal or anything, so I just replied alright thank you and left it at that. He later came back again (maybe realizing how he behaved) and offered a coffee on the house. However at that point, I already felt very uncomfortable. It ruined the whole experience for me. The pizza ended up being okay, and my friends might have given a better review since they loved their food, but for me, it was overall an unpleasant experience and I certainly won’t be returning. Read moreSuper popular on Friday evening. Almost all tables were occupied when we arrived around 8pm. The restaurant has aromas of grilled food. It's so noisy that it is hard to hear each other but the restaurant has a bustling ambiance.
🔸️ STARTER ARANCINI ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite small portion but brusting with rich flavours of basil, gruyére cheese, roasted tomatoes and cheese cream.
🔸️ PIZZAS: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The pizzas here have a soft, floury bread like dough and tasted great. They come in small (PIZZA PICCOLO) or large and made pretty good starters.
Recommend the MARGHERITA, CRUDO and the DIAVOLA.
🔸️ SALAD: CAESAR & PRAWNS ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A big bowl of romaine lettuce and large croutons tossed in caesar dressing, topped with large grilled tiger prawns. It looked just like the photo on the menu. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy and the tiger prawns delicious. The croutons however were too hard.
🔸️ WHITE WINE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The chilled semi-sweet Palava from Vinarstvi Volarik was the perfect pairing.
🔸️ DESSERTS & COFFEE TIRAMISU ⭐⭐⭐ This looked like the photo as well and many other guests ordered it. The dessert was a sweet, thick soft large square of mascarpone cream and biscuits topped with cocoa powder. The amaretto flavor was light.
