I came here with friends using the Slovenian student vouchers, and unfortunately the service really ruined our visit. The waitress (the blonde lady) was very unprofessional and unfriendly. She placed the menu and food on the table by throwing them down without saying a single word. When we asked her questions about the dishes, she didn’t try to explain or help, she only repeated what was written on the menu. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable.

On the other hand, the lady from the kitchen was very kind and polite, which we appreciated. It’s a shame, because the food itself could have been a good experience, but the attitude of the waitress completely overshadowed it.

Good service makes a huge difference, and sadly we didn’t get that here.

I kindly asked them if they accept credit cards and they replied, yes we do. Then I was about to order a Coca cola and the waitress replied, but you can not pay with a credit card for a drink only. I replied, how do you know I will drink only one Coke, when my intention was to drink more than one drink since I was about to work some urgent work on my laptop for one and a half hours at least. They didn't say that they serve food only and no solo drinks. The issue was paymet method only. In this Covid -19 times I don't use cash, but Apple Pay only. Since their terrace was almost empty and the waitress used rude tone to argue with me about how much will I spend, I simply decided to move to a next restaurant terrace. How fancy can a restaurant today be, to refuse a guest just because of an e-payment...

The absolute rudest waitress in Ljubljana! My friend and I were waiting patiently to ask her if we could get a table, did not interrupt her, and stayed at a respectful distance from the table. She then confronts my friend (who speaks Slovenian—I’m a tourist and he is showing me around) in Slovenian, about how rude he is and his lack of manners for asking if we could sit down. We did nothing but wait patiently and treat her respectfully, and she gave us nothing but disrespect and humiliation in return. It was the absolute most surprising and disappointing customer service experience I have experienced not only in Slovenia, but anywhere. Needless to say, we took our money elsewhere.
