The place seems cosy, clean and is probably a nice bar to have a cocktail. I just went there with a friend to have a drink and a pastry and we felt immediately that the waiters wanted to "play" a bit. Each time we ordered something, one colleague yielded a the other one what we asked in French (as he noticed we spoke french to each other) and it was followed with a non-funny racist joke. Each time we had to order a few time before having the privilege of being served. It was a bit frustrating as the place was not crowdy. Moreover, we had to wait 20 minutes for the bill, after asking to all the waiters.the only answer was always "2 minutes " (in French) with a cynical smile. Why this attitude ? We don't know but we definitely don't recommend this place. They were just trying to make us feel uncomfortable. And for the pastry, not the worst but not good either, They are plenty of other bars in the area with a better service .Dont waste your time...
Read morePoor service. Went there for coffee around 10am today,28/12/2022 and the waiter was acting weirdly. After 30 minutes, the waiter came and give the bill which I found a bit strange as none of us has ask for the bill. Then after 10 minutes, he again came to the table, immediately clearing the cups and glass of water (which I intend to finish) and said “ciao” or goodbye. We were shocked on how he treated us, not sure if it is something to do with racism ( we are 2 asian ladies) but it was very uncomfortable feeling. The restaurant was relatively empty and not so sure why he was in hurry to kick us out from the restaurant. There were discrepancies in price between the wine we took and what we payed for. In the end we payed the glass more than double than what we were expecting (for little to no wine also).
The reason from the waiters themselves was "we did not make the prices, it is just what it is". The menus they were giving out to people were severely different from what their "cashier automatic prices" on their phones. Even if they realized the menu were a lower price, they did not help us finding a middle ground (just giving out for free another glass would've resolved it, even without any refunds).
