Being local, i often go here and it used to be my favourite ice cream place. Today I was really looking forward to some ice cream. I went there with my friend. We took a table on the terrace and waited for service. The place was basically empty but still the table was not yet cleaned from the previous guests. Since there was no queue, I stepped inside and asked if they do service outside and they said yes. After a few minutes, still no one came to took our order. I picked up the dirty dishes from the previous guests and took them to the bar. There I saw 3 waitresses talking to each other and only one was serving, but inside. Again I asked If I could order and they said yes. After I went back to my table outside, I could still see 2 waitresses at the bar with no guests, talking to eachother, not preparing anything, another one was standing at the ice cream counter, also not serving any guests because there was no queue. Again I asked for service, but they were clearly annoyed by me and started explaining to me that I had to wait my turn. Which was ridiculous since the place was nearly empty. So my friend and I simply left. Very...
Read moreI know it's not the most usual thing to do in freezing cold weather but when you walk by a shop and notice they make the ice cream there and then it feels rude not to at least try it. So yes I was suckered in and it's alot bigger then I expected with seating upstairs with a bar and seating outside. But I came here for the ice cream so that's what I was sticking with. Due to already being full I just had 1 scoop but they had a large selection ranging from your regulars to some more experimental flavours that all looked great. I chose the raspberry sorbet with some white chocolate sauce on top alternatively you could choose milk chocolate. The ice cream was brilliant flavoursome, tasty and refreshing and the service was brilliant also. When you get past the ice cream it's always important to have a good cone and this was also tasty and felt like it was made in house but I can't guarantee that but all in all a great place to get an ice cream in any temperature and for a bargain price of under 3 euros which surprised me as its amazing quality and in London they would be...

I don't usually like chocolate ice cream but the chocolate sorbet with orange is to die for. The Vigò ice cream is also excellent and the vanilla and the hazelnut ones. We tried more that were good but I don't remember which ones they were. Yes we went there every day!
The chocolate from the fountain, which they put on top of the ice cream, is also very good.
I find it best to choose two different flavours. They offer 1/2 scoops which is great if you don't want that much.
You can try the flavours before you choose and I recommend doing that. We bought the elderflower ice cream and didn't like that so after that I tried the flavours I was interested in.
Definitely the best ice cream shop I've visited!
We also went to the one in Koper but it's much smaller and they do not have as many flavours. They don't even have the chocolate...
