Grajska Kavarna Lolita — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

In a half full cafe we waited for 15-20 minutes to order, then waited another 10-15 minutes for 2 cappucinos and 2 cakes (one of which never arrived but instead a sandwich arrived which we did not order and send back). After we finished the cappucinos and the one cake we asked for the bill, which took another 10 minutes and a reminder to the waiter. Then on the bill they wanted to charge for the 2nd cake that never arrived, which we pointed out and where told they check with the kitchen first. After the waiter came back they charged for the 2 cappuchinos and the one cake without any further explaination or apologie. While this happened to our table we noticed that the table behinde us got a beer they did not order. Would not reccomend. If the staff is overwhelmed at less then half capacity I don't know what happens when...

Awful experience. Everything on the menu seems very overpriced for what it is. Waiter came over fairly quickly to take our order but saw we were still reading the menu so said he'd come back in a couple minutes. Never saw him again after that. We waited half an hour and nobody came back over to take our order, and we couldn't even try to get a waiters attention because all of them disappeared for a good 20 minutes. Nobody was running food, nobody was taking orders - literally couldn't find a single member of staff in the building, and we weren't the only table waiting to be seen. I have no idea where they all suddenly went. We gave up eventually and left without eating or drinking anything. Really put a dampener on the entire trip to the castle as we were walking...

In complete contrast to the other reviews here we had a great experience here.

Very attractive selection of cakes of which we chose the chocolate, pistachio and tiramisu and two toasted sandwiches.

The cakes and drinks came immediately and the sandwiches were not much longer.

My daughter now puts this chocolate cake as her number 1(ever) and this is no mean feat. It is even better than Kaokakao in Opatija apparently.

The tiramisu is also pretty good and better than most.

I can appreciate it probably gets pretty busy and service get slow at times but we weren't one of...
