Fishaways Corlette Drive — Restaurant in Gauteng

A very unhappy customer. We ordered a family platter with 4 fish and we only received 3. We are a family of 4. Our Onions rings also still had inedible onion skin on them. The cashier, Busi promised to call us back in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later I had to call them back, still waiting to eat our dinner and for our proper order. Again I was told that we would get a call back. When I explained that we were waiting to eat, I got a long sigh and then an obliging "please hold for the manager". What I expected to hear from the manager, Andile, was "no problem ma'am we'll sort it out". Instead what I was told was that they had checked their camera and we were lying. When I asked the manager why I would waste my time calling back for over 30 minutes, and explained that my family of 4 was short one meal, she told me I didn't check the box properly. Still no explanation for why my onion rings still had skin on them. We're not a family that ever complains but the lack of accountability and customer service was just not acceptable. Definitely won't be ordering from here again. Lack of service delivery and accountability is what's killing our country. Our experience with Fishaway's tonight was a classic example of this. How unfortunate when they had an opportunity to just get us our correct order....

Warning!! ‼️ do not order sushi from this place! I have never ordered sushi from Fishaways before but thought tonight to give it a try. I also ordered the grilled hake and rice which was excellent. As soon as I opened the box with the sushi (salmon maki), it smelled terrible and extremely fishy. It also did not look right. I ate one piece of it and immediately felt sick and closed the box and threw it away. I have confirmed my gut feeling of not to order sushi at Fishaways. Just stick to bake and rice and go to a proper sushi place for sushi. Also look at the picture you can see how...

I have ordered many times from them and always loved their food. Was always fresh today I ordered from work as we always do. I was very disappointed and angry at the quality of my food. I didn't even dare eat it. My lemon butter sauce was thick d green in colour, chips old and dried out. The hake was old to as you could see in the batter. The rice sour.
