Steers Corlette Drive — Restaurant in Gauteng

I've been a customer of Steer Melrose since 2018 but today I had the most disappointing service. I went to the restaurant and ordered Lemon and Herb full chicken and chips. What I got is nothing short of substandard. The chicken did not taste like it ever had Lemon and Herb basting at all. Well maybe I would have tasted it if it wasn't for the fact that most of it's skin was missing. The chips were simply partially salted with probably normal table salt, that distinctive Steers Seasoning color was not there. Please refer to the pictures below. I never post reviews, but I feel that this incident warrants it. I ordered a prince cheese burger meal from Steers on Corlett drive through Uber eats. I received the food almost 30 minutes after it was scheduled to arrive, only to find that the burger had no patty. It was just a soggy bun with lettuce and cheese inside. Obviously, that is not a burger. I raised the issue with Uber through their complaint forum, and their solution was to refund me R31. Great, I ended up paying R73 for small chips that cost substantially less than that. Pathetic service on both sides. Safe to say I will never be ordering from Steers Corlett...

A sorry lookout for Steers and Famous brands. Staff working here have bad attitude and think that they are doing customers a favour by serving them. Inordinately rude. Scant ingredients. No onions or eggs available to add to burgers. No sauces at all and it was a mission to extract a single sachet of Barbecue sauce. There are no hygiene facilities and the single toilet was locked. They had no access or keys and seemed uninterested in hygiene. A person was urinating outside as a result. How did the authorities approve this place?...
