McDonald's Fourways — Restaurant in Gauteng

My pregnant friend ,her son , myself and my daughter,Went to this McDonald’s because we needed food and a small play area for my 2 year old . After ordering the food we found a seat close to the little play area , I then walked in to the play area with my 2 year old and my friends soon ( 9 years or so). To my surprise a group of people sitting in the area looking at me in annoyance , I then said to them she’s (my daughter) is going to play , and one of them stated they were in a meeting. confused, I asked them “she can’t play in the play area because you Having a meeting? They looked at me blankly and continued on their work, I then proceeded to take my daughter and my friend son out .where I saw lady seated just outside the play area with her young child, she told me her son was also prohibited entry and that the play Area had air conditioning unlike the rest of the McDonald’s , so the customers sat in the hot restaurant while the staff sat comfortably work in the air conditioned area.

I went and asked for the manager and she came and just told me I would have to wait , very non chialant. Customers service is terrible

So it is now a norm to use mac Donald’s play areas as boardrooms for McDonald’s staff? Is that not made for kids ( customers ) to enjoy ??

Mc Donald's Fourways mall took my order for a kiddies meal, chose the book and paid extra to have the juice in a box. A staff member saw me ordering and told me there are no books, and changed the books to a girls toy. I paid accordingly. When the food came, the poor junior bringing the food said they had no toys what so ever, and the juice was in a cup so she said they are out of juice boxes. When I said that I had paid extra, she shrugged her shoulders. The manager wouldn't come and talk to me. Since I needed the box to take with me, we had none of the juice, got no toy, no apology, no refund or voucher or any form of making up the inconvenience. Yes we are lucky to have been able to go to MC Donald's, and two year olds really don't need the toy or the juice, but I could have got the burger and chips for less, and received what I had paid for. Definitely not an experience I want to repeat. Since I have my grand daughter often, I will certainly take her to the many places that offer great value for kids, and be grateful that she won't become a...

I love this McDonalds and only go to this one since I always have good service and live in Fourways. Today I was just really disappointed as I ordered a beef share bag and specifically asked for one jalapeño sauce and one sweet and sour as those are the only ones we like, as well as only original cokes for all four drinks. When we got home we saw that we got barbecue sauce and coke zero which I find disgusting. I am frustrated that I had to pay and did not receive what I requested. Please check that you give the client what they ask for. I do not see why I have to unpack my entire order to see that I received the correct contents. But, from now on it seems I will have to spend an extra few minutes in front of the collection window to make sure it is correct.

Please compliment your staff on their friendliness! No matter what time of day I get there, they are always smiling...
