We watched every Rugby world cup game at Mezapoli. From game one, where capacity was normal to the final game where capacity was at a max.

The events that occurred last night (28 Oct) weren’t surprising given how service has been since the first game. Service was extremely poor all throughout. Waiters did not attend to tables even at the time when it was not so busy. When we arrived, we noticed there were people who had not made reservations intruding on personal space of patrons who had reservations, more especially in the area where we were sitting . We made the manager aware of this and asked that he enlists security to help attend to it as it also posed a security risk. Whilst I understand that the high volumes of people in the vicinity made security difficult to manage, the manager was indifferent and showed no attempts at trying to help the situation. Ultimately, the night ended in a brawl where glasses were thrown etc, catching others patron in the crossfire. Your managers and waiters cared no mind for patrons long before the area was too busy to manage and the situation was exasperated by your waiters who were serving people without reservations instead of helping to keep patrons who did have reservations comfortable. You clearly put profits above the safety of patrons and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Im not sure if the food felt average at best because of all that ensued or if its just that way in...

Great, relaxed restaurant. If you're there as a group, be sure to order several dishes and share them with the table, that's the best way to get a taste of several of their dishes. And you'll order quite a few dishes so don't be shy to write on the menu (it's a piece of paper that will be disposed of once it gets dirty). I asked first and the waiter actually appreciated me doing this. Saved him a lot of time so when we were done circling our options he simply took this and gave it to the chef to prep.

Also loved how they didn't bring every dish all at once, they staggered them so that the table wasn't too full at any one point.

So over and above everything, their service was top notch. When you get there, be sure to order from their vegetarian selection. Don't sleep on those artichokes, they are absolutely delish!!

why not 5 stars? Pricy! Make sure you've got your racks on deck.

And oh... if you have kids, please don't be a dunce and leave your rascals to run amok smashing their scooters into our feet. I will throw a death glare at you and judge your parenting...
