Steers Montecasino — Restaurant in Gauteng

Absolutely awful place to eat. I like steers a lot but this division has just been a full on disappointment. The cashier who was a older male was very disrespectful with his "I don't care" attitude and took the order wrong where I requested for a cup of caramel dunked ice cream, he gave me a cone because that is what he put on the slip and claimed he asked if we wanted a cone where we asked for a cup. He argued with me saying that he asked which we wanted and advised I said that I want a cone. Then when I went back to query about my Double BBQ cheese burger only having 1 patty, we discovered that there was indeed 2 (incredibly thin patties) but the last patty was squished (really squished) together with the bottom bun which you could not even see from how mistreated the food was, the cashier's attitude for the entire was ridiculous and Inna way of this is just a joke to him. This is really unacceptable service and I will never come back here again. Don't know where these guys get a 3.5 star rating from?? It's hardly correct. More like maybe a 1.5 star rating. Phoned through an order @ 18.35. Told it would be 25mins to collect. Arrived at 18.55 waited, waited and waited until approx 19.20. Eventually got the food - chips missing on arrival back home!! It pays to check your order before you leave. The order had actually been sitting on the despatch counter ever since we arrived. The was one poor lady trying to take orders from customers as well as dish out the orders to waiting customers. She clearly could not cope. On arrival back home food was cold and dried out already. By the way - when we were departing there was a packet on the dispatch counter that nearly caught alight, probably due to the fact that it had been sitting there for so long under the heater... Won't be back there...

I'm on no star rating actually, we bought a full chicken meal that didn't have a steers taste, served two paper takeaway to share a family meal, our order came short of mini loafs...after a discussion that it's supposed to come with, when they finally arrive they were from the microwave and iced in the middle. Just when I thought of letting it go, I asked for a toothpick and they said they don't have. Because we were the 1st customers I suspect they didn't prepare fresh food for us. The fries looked like were leftovers. Imagine having this experience after 11 in the morning with a family of 6. I'm disappointed...
