KFC Umhlanga (Lighthouse Road) — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

I went to KFC Umhlanga on the 10th February 2022 Thursday night after 20:30, stood for more than 8 minutes without being helped and there was no one before me waiting to be served. Two Cashiers were discussing and none of them bothered to explain why they couldn't help. I asked if they still serving people they said I must wait. I waited and after taking so much they eventually stopped what they were talking about. Then they never had meat yes I understood because it was late, second option they never had then I requested what they still having they mentioned and I placed my order according to what they said they still having. After a while one order was ready and packed and was placed on the counter but I never thought it was mine since there were no drinks with it as I had ordered drinks. After serving several customers who came after me I went to the ask and the same order which was placed on the counter was mine. The male who gave me pushed two buddies if drinks which I never ordered the when I informed him that I haven't ordered that type of drinks he couldn't even apologized for making me wait for so long and giving me the incorrect order. For harmony sake I took my order and left when eating on my way only drinks and one meal was correct all the others were not what they suggested to me and no serviettes, no salt and tomotoe sauces and food was cold. I am an understanding person and in all that kind of treatment I never said anything besides asking only the two questions said above. I assumed that they were tired but my frustration was to be given wrong food I never ordered and no proper service after all no apology. To those two involved they will remember exactly the incident because the store was empty kindly refrain from treating customers anyhow especially when people are...

Me, my wife and daughter went to this KFC. We queued in a line where is writings, ORDER HERE. After +_ 10 min we arrived in front. The lady at the till then told us that we need to order at some payphone. Now we had to stand in a line there to order. Another 10 min gone. During our ordering the machine freezed. Now we had to stand in line at a second machine waiting Another long time. At this stage I was ready to explode. My wife got me to calm down. We payed and went to sit outside and my daughter waited inside. People came and left that was behind us. 20 min later my patients ran out. I went to ask how long still. 5 min later we got our order. I was passed my patients level for this incompetent imbeciles working there. Now the best for last. At the hotel where we stayed we started eating. We are from Pretoria. The Crunch burgers was extremely dry, the mash and gravy tasted like there was a dead fish in it. The nuggets was awful. So I recon this was money well spent. This KFC should operate on a rubbish dump or even better, the owner should shove is so deep in WHERE THE SUN DO NOT...

This is a pathetic place from the moment we entered until we left very bad experience....we ordered 5 x Streetwise one....until our order arrived we were not informed that the meal comes in a cardboard box and not a BUCKET as advertised...then we are told there is no coke and was replaced with stoney....when I queried as to why I was not told about this.....the staff at the back began screaming and saying that there are no kids for the bucket in Isizulu but they did not know that I understand and speak Isizulu...I replied saying that I should have been informed when making my purchase....but I will give credit where it is due...the meal was cooked well and we enjoyed it but not the staff attitude and just to highlight there are no covid protocols followed by the staff but I witnessed them screaming at a customer for not wearing a mask but the staff at the back had no mask on....the venue is good but. I would never return to this place until they have new staff...there was no manager in duty upon my request...for Umhlanga and upmarket area very...
