●SERVICE (The service at Marco's Italian was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, happy to answer our questions about the menu and make recommendations. The staff's enthusiasm and passion for Italian cuisine were evident in every interaction, making us feel like we were part of the family.)

●ATMOSPHERE (The atmosphere at Marco's Italian was warm and inviting, with a cozy and intimate décor that made us feel like we were in a traditional Italian trattoria. The dim lighting, comfortable seating, and soft background music all contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.)

●RESTAURANT (The restaurant itself was beautifully designed, with a modern and sleek aesthetic that still managed to evoke the warmth and charm of traditional Italian cuisine. The open kitchen allowed us to see the chefs at work, preparing each dish with care and attention to detail.)

●ARANCINI BALLS (A classic Italian appetizer, these risotto balls were stuffed with mozzarella cheese and porcini mushrooms, crumbed and fried to perfection. The arrabiatta sauce added a tangy and slightly spicy kick.)

●ITALIAN STYLE BASIL FISH CAKES (These fish cakes were a revelation – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of fresh basil flavor. The herb salad, capers, and red onion added a delightful contrast in texture and flavor.)

●HONEYMOON PASTA ( This dish was a masterpiece – a rich and creamy seafood pasta cooked to perfection in a pizza oven. The mixed seafood, calamari, prawns, lango tails, and mussels were all cooked to perfection, and the chilli, garlic, tomato, and white wine cream sauce added a depth of flavor that was simply stunning.)

●INVOLTINI DI POLO (This dish was a work of art – chicken breasts stuffed with camembert cheese and cranberry jam, wrapped in parma ham and oven baked to perfection. The sage butter sauce added a rich and creamy element...

So, I heard about this restaurant online and read all the reviews making sure I wasnt gonna be disappointed by heading down there. And ti my knowledge every one had only good things to say, so I was expecting only the best.

So I Went down there and let me tell you... ..Marco's Italian Restaurant 100% Exceeded My Expectations !!!! The Food Is freshly prepared in house so you can expect nothing but the finest ingredients to alllll your Italian favorite dishes and let me just say its really food taken to the next level #Masterchef vibes I enjoyed every bite...from the pastas and the pizzas.

The service is absolutely amazing, its been a while where I've sat down at a restaurant and had waitress and hosts that are soooooo attentive and make you feel sooo welcome, not just the normal. The atmosphere and the cool rustic but very contemporary vibez just makes you want to stay all night long...

Its such a hidden diamond and its definitely gonna be 1 of my top fav Italian restaurants in kzn...thank you soooo much for such an amazing...

Food : AMAZING 9/10 👏 one of the BEST sources of Italian cuisine in Durban. Service: Grand 10/10 👏 server was polite and courteous equivalent to pricey5 star restaurants I've attended. Price: very affordable 👌 Quality : Great !👍 so glad to see bountiful seafood in the seafood dishes, I didn't have to go hunting for prawns in the pasta !

COVID PROTOCOLS : 1/10 was very disappointed to see that only the waiters on the floor were wearing masks. In the kitchen , chef had no mask!! The other waiters were all huddled together socialising with no masks on!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING AND CONCERNING.

Once I saw this , couldn't stomach anymore of my meal, had to leave without testing the desserts and closing off the meal the Italian way with a good coffee! ☕ I really would love to return to finish trying all the items I wanted to and bring along the entire family. Please be covid compliant so we can enjoy your tantalising meals with...
