I've been an ongoing supporter, patron for a good solid 20 years since the beginning of time, through times being good and bad, even through days of Covid, I've experienced sometimes good to great to moderate service. Lately though, these past two to three months have experienced an absolute dissapointment. A once bragged about and recommendation to family and friends, now a failed and let down establishment. The staff negative attitude to non existent service where one has to constantly call for service and literally too by phone call with inside the establishment requesting said service is absolutely dissapointing and appauling. Never have experienced such bad service here. It seems the staff are not being monitored, supervised nor trained accordingly. The food was always great, unfortunately with the repetitive bad service and attitude, sadly we no longer will be supporting Grappino Bistro as throughout the dissapointments and let downs with no improvement nor effort was made, they have dropped the ball. No one wants to be in a place being neglected as a client or being put in an uncomfortable position. Work on your client services and be proffessional about it. My first time at Grappino and this has to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was attrocious. No one greeted us or was even standing at the entrance. With an almost empty restaurant, our drinks order took 20 minutes to arrive, and some of the drinks were missing! The food was average and also took long to arrive. The waitresses were not attentive, and busy with other tasks while we waited for missing and incorrect items. The lights then went off mid meal! Apparently the restaurant runs on pre paid electricity and it had run out! That is appalling and something I have never ever experienced before. 12% gratuity is included in your bill, which you aren’t told about (and which the staff don’t deserve!) and then you overpay and have to be refunded. Absolutely shocking and atrocious dining experience and will never dine at...

I was referred to this place by someone from my community. The food is absolutely delicious. However the service from the waitresses are awful and almost non existent. I decided to try it out again thinking it could have just been a bad night . However even on their quiet night with no other patrons, the waitresses congregated behind the front counter, did not check up on us , this happened on 3 separate instances. In such a weak economy I am gobsmacked to see how these employees are literally running this place down. I am not sure if the owners are aware of what is going on here, with no customer service whatsoever….I have frequented many restaurants and this has by far been the most stressful place to eat with waitresses behaving like they doing us a favour by serving us . 10 for the food . 10 for the ambience and 0...
