I definitely can recommend this place! We graved some meat so we found the restaurant in a small site street on the second floor. The atmosphere is great, loved the chill music like traditional instruments or instrumental ghibli songs. As it is a restaurant of a smaller size it was not as packed and loud as I expirienced in other korean restaurants.
For the food I got a rice bowl with grilled pork shoulder and kimchi jjigae as a side dish. If you're a meat lover I recommend to choose the extra portion meat for +2000won, but the portion in itself is already filling. The meat was of good quality and really tender! For my taste I would loved to have a little more spices, but that's only my european tongue speaking (and there are different kind of spiced dishes!), but for the kimchi jjigae it was perfect. It was a good amount of hot, had delicious ingredients and fitted my main dish perfectly. I whished there would be a little more of the banchans (free side dishes in korea), but only cause they were delicious. I also got a drink and only paid 14.000won, so it also was a good price/quality ratio!
Will definitely eat here again to try out the...

We had the samgyeopsal pork belly set which was fantastic! Highly recommend. FYI, it's spicy. We ordered another pork belly soy bean paste set for our kids thinking it's not spicy but it turned out to be spicy. So we had to order another pork katsu, which was crispy and tasty!
Overall the ambience here is nice and quiet. Not kids friendly in terms of having baby chairs and toddler cutlery, but it's not crowded and the staff were friendly towards the children which was nice.
We tucked into the food immediately as we were famished, so pictures of half eaten meals 😂, but will recommend this place if you would like to get away from the Myeongdong crowd and eat...
Read moreCame here at 11.30AM on a Saturday, just as it opened. I am very impressed by the dining experience. Firstly, the aesthetics are brilliant. The Asian-esque decor made of paper and wood coupled with the calming music (classical renditions of Ghibli music) provided a really relaxing dining environment (keep in mind that only 3 other parties were with us at this hour, I hear this place can get busy).
The food was also fantastic, I ordered the chicken porridge. I found the taste to be just right, with very good consistency and plentiful amounts of chicken. I also wholly recommend the steamed egg, it's slightly salty but very delicious!
Overall, a very enjoyable experience and great food for a more than reasonable price. I will be...
