Came here for lunch. After we were seated we were told no one there spoke English but later found out that they spoke Chinese. Anyways, the server who explained the menu in chinese, was very pushy about their premium meet (priced at $119,000) which wasn’t even the recommended dish on their menu. So we ended up order the one below it (the recommended meat on the menu priced at $85,000), we also order the beef abalone soup to go with. Throughout this entire interaction the server DID NOT mention a word that the meat price was per person. They were acknowledged that this was our first time here and didn’t thoroughly explain their menu instead they kept pushing at the higher price dishes …for a lunch. Lol anyways the meat was VERY MEDIOCRE , no taste whatsoever. It doesn’t explain the price tag. Everything else was just average at best. Anyways bill came and it added up to roughly $181,000. I had to as the server for an explanation as to why the bill was so high because I was only expecting around $117,000 +tax. She then rudely and swiftly said someone will come to explain. Finally another lady came that actually spoke English rudely clarified that the meat price was “only per person” but when I told her her staff never mentioned a word about that, she look as if though it’s my job to know. Even if it’s per person the bill still doesn’t add up. Anyways. They already charged my card prior to even showing me the bill. This has to be the shadiest restaurant I encounter this visit. I understand that u might be affected by Covid but to scam and shade foreigners just cause they don’t speak the language is just not right and flat out bad business practice. I thought no one there spoke English when I asked for one so where did this English speaking staff came from? It’s not about the price, it’s the principle. I just went to Gaon and paid over $500,000+ and I was willing to pay because they provided transparent and good service. The service and food was below average for its price. Look at the meet below and tell me if that little piece of thing is worth $171,000 LOL, what the heck you think you serving? American A5 Wagyu? This place is a joke. PLZ...

Don’t waste your money on restaurants that don’t value their customers equally. I’m not usually the type to write reviews online, but we had such a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share it. My family and I were really looking forward to try the Beef Tartare Bibimbap because my dad had it during a previous business trip to Seoul and loved it. When we tried to order it, they told us it was sold out for the day, along with many other items on the menu (which I already found strange because their dinner crowd had just started to come in.) We ended up ordering something else, which can be seen in the picture I attached. After the other tables had ordered their food, we noticed that they were serving them the Beef Tartare Bibimbap that they were so adamant about being sold out. When we asked them why the other guests were allowed to order the dish, they had no valid explanation to offer us. The whole situation left such a sour taste in our mouth for the rest of the night, and I was especially disappointed because my dad was so excited to...

Very awful experience! We went there a week ago with 10 ppl with kids and elderly. There were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant during peak hour. When I make order, we want to try different dish, ie Bbq food, hot stone rice, korean cakes etc. The waitress was impolite and impatiently told me that we need to order at least six BBQ dish for our tables. I told her not everyone likes BBQ food. She refuse our orders impolitely. We’re very disappointed and finally left the restaurant. Before we leave, she asked for our payment for the water we drank. The three small bottle of water costs 10,000. I respect some restaurant has their expectation. If they want minimum charge or so, why don’t they put their expectations in their menu or in the restaurant. We are completely pissed off becoz of the rudeness of the waiter. We read the menu on google before we entered the restaurant. We fully understand they are not providing cheap menu and we prepared for it. However, we are not willing to pay for bad service and attitude. Incredible bad...

Exceptional beef Korean BBQ. They cook it for you, and did an excellent job. While there we also ordered a couple items from the Bib Gourmand award winning lunch menu. They didn't speak a ton of English, so someone went the extra mile and called her daughter to translate that the crab is served raw to make sure I was okay with it. The service was truly exceptional and welcoming, even to a couple of idiot foreigners who don't speak any Korean. The raw crab in soy-based sauce from the lunch menu was a bit difficult to eat, but incredibly delicious. I suggest getting it after a course of KBBQ.
