Bbandak Bbandak Myeongdong Branch — Restaurant in Seoul

A very bad experience eating in this restaurant as a tourist. We went there due to the many good reviews below but in actual fact, the restaurant gave a free coke for every review that you wrote if u show them your review in e restaurant.

I went there around lunch time but only 1 table occupied so something is not right. We ordered rose stir chicken, pan garlic rice and pancake. They served the chicken and pancake first and I ask whether is e rice ready and this super rude waiter say will served later.

10 mins past, I walked to the counter and ask if we can have the rice served so that we can eat together with the chicken, and this rude waiter replied in a super loud and annoying voice tone ‘I already told u to eat the chicken first and we will served the rice later’. I was shocked, Ie restaurant was not busy, he was playing with his Hp. They expect us to eat just plain rice since they will only served later? I have a toddler with me and we just wanted to eat the chicken with rice. I was talking to him in a friendly tone in proper English but yet I m being treated in such humiliating and disrespectful way.

I will never patronize this shop anymore as nobody should be...

To be fair, they give you a free drink if you leave a good review, but I was honestly going to do it anyway. If you’re like us and have never eaten this before, here are the answers to questions we had. Yes, it’s delicious!!! It’s very easy to enjoy. The dishes are described as spicy chicken, but it’s not so spicy and the cheese cuts the spice level down even further. It has a warmer on the table but you don’t cook it yourself. They set the digital menu at the table to English (or your language) so it’s easy to order. This is a great place for kids so long as they can tolerate mild spice. Service is perfect. The food comes quickly and the servers respond instantly. The portions are jumbo. You order per serving size. As a party of 3 we ordered for 3, but easily could have ordered for 2 and...

DO NOT RECOMMEND We walked in to make the booking, the front of house couldn’t understand english so we pull up the translation, he didnt look pleased as we want to make a reservation at 8:45 (they close at 11 accordingly to Google) but put us down anyway.

We were less than 10 mins late which we apologised for but he looked very unpleasant and said they are closing at 10 so we only have an hour for dinner which we have no issue.

When the food arrived, I had a question about the fried rice, the staff really didn’t want to answer me question, looked like I was wasting his time.

When he left, he didn’t even say thank you and goodbye.
