James Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Seoul

I wouldn’t even give this place one star. I don’t know what kind of pizza the other reviewers have eaten in the past but this is far from “good”. Let’s start with the crust... not crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside like it should be. It was soggy and felt like eating wet doughy bread. To top it off (pun intended) the crust had powdered sugar on top of it. POWDERED SUGAR. They even give you jelly to eat with the crust. Am I having breakfast toast? Even that would be better with the jelly because it would at least be crispy. The cheese and toppings were mediocre at best and that’s a stretch. I’m no chef or food critic, but this pizza was so bad that it put me in a bad mood. I’ve had better pizza that I’ve heated up in the microwave. Far from what I’d expect from a place claiming “Chicago” pizza. A disgrace to the style of pizza and pizza as a whole. Avoid this place...

Its important to note that this is "James Chicago" pizza, not "Chicago" pizza. At a glance you will see some resemblance between a James Chicago pizza and a traditional deep dish Chicago-styled pizza. Chicago-styled as in the city of Chicago from the great state of Illinois, USA. James Chicago must certainly know the difference. What they serve here in Meongdong, Seoul, South Korea is more like a giant flat doughnut, with ketchupy sauce in the center covered by toppings of your choice. The edge crust has powdered sugar sprinkled on it. If you're not expecting real Chicago pizza, this combination can be pretty good. Definitely the worst pizza I ever had in my whole life. The dough was completely undercooked and super soggy. I ordered pepperoni, there was not even a single pepperoni in the pizza. The sauce was horrible. It tasted really bad. And the pizza was very expensive. 25000 totally not worth it. I hate wasting food and tried my very best to eat all but there was just no way.
