BSJ Chicken - Halal Restaurant — Restaurant in Seoul

This place was such a hidden gem! BSJ Chicken is a halal spot tucked right above a halal Korean BBQ, You can actually sit downstairs at the BBQ restaurant and order from BSJ Chicken too, so you can mix and match both menus. Absolute win.

I tried a few things, but the standout for me was definitely the jajangmyeon, hands down the best I’ve ever had. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the sauce was rich, savoury, and full of flavour. Everything just tasted so fresh and well-made. The chicken was great too - crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right.

It’s such a good spot if you’re craving halal Korean comfort food that still feels authentic. The atmosphere is chill, the staff are friendly, and the food totally hits the spot. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re exploring Seoul’s halal food scene, this place deserves way...

Happily went to this restaurant but was quickly turned off when greeted with one of the rudest service person I've ever had to encounter in my life.

I get it, it was a Friday crowd. But this rude guy didn't even let me speak - actual conversation as I open the door

Rude person : No no no no table Me : how lo- Rude person : BBQ?? Me : (thinking it would make a difference) yeah sure why not? Rude person : no table Me : ermm ok so what about not BBQ? Rude person : NO TABLE, WAITING! (at this point this guy had started raising his voice) Me : ..... OK, how long? Rude person : 🤷🏻‍♀️ and walked away

We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of food offered at such reasonable prices. We ordered the Half-Half Chicken with spicy and garlic flavors, and both were incredibly satisfying. In addition, we tried the soft tofu soup, japchae, chicken tteokbokki, and bulgogi udon. Every dish was perfectly balanced, with delightful flavors of spice and sweetness.
