An excellent choice to eat traditional and delicious Korean food near Seoul downtown. It is easy to get there by walking just 10 minutes away from the Palace and other landmarks. Sure, the traditional barbecue is a must, but for me the surprise was a beef and clam soup with noodles that tastes delicious. Excellent place, very recommended.

갈비탕 국물이 깔끔합니다. 사리에 냉면 사리를 주는게 독특하다고 생각했어요. 메뉴중에 냉면이 있었던 것 같은데 맛보기 느낌이려나요? 국물이 맛있어서 그런지 면사리도 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 갓 삶은건 아닌 느낌. 뭔지 아시죠? 면사리가 뭉쳐져있어서 풀어내기가 좀 어렵긴합니다. 뼈에 붙은 살이 잘 발리지 않습니다. 고기가 질기더라고요. 결국 물어뜯어 먹었는데, 살이 잘 발라지지 않아서 대충 뜯겨지는 부분만 먹었습니다. 특허받은 갈비탕이라고 하니 좋은 점은 있겠거니 합니다. 보통 와사비 간장하면 간장에 와사비를 덜어주는데 여기는 다 풀어져있는 간장이 나옵니다. 처음엔 그냥 간장만 주는건가? 했는데 찍어먹어보니 와사비간장이더라고요. 좀 찝찝하긴했는데, 믿고 먹어야죠. 깍두기 김치와 배추김치는 맛있었습니다. 갈비탕은 역시 김치죠. 결론적으로.. 가격이 좀 비싼거같아요. 위치때문인가? 9천원~1만원 주고 먹은 맛이었으면 별 4개까지 생각해볼수있을지 모르겠는데, 얻어 먹는거면 모를까, 내 돈주고는 그냥 동네 갈비탕집 갈거 같습니다.

Beef (hanwoo) was nice. However they are actually on the expensive side compared to other hanwoo restaurants.

Since this is in a tourist spot, you won't get the best value for money.

Customer service from the waitresses were good however there was some misunderstanding. In the end it led to an uncomfortable confrontation with the manager/owner of the restaurant.

Would I go back? No.. I will try other hanwoo restaurants that taste nicer and offer...
