The laterns are what drew in me into this place! I love the atmosphere here, I just REALLY wish I knew how big the portions were gonna be ๐Ÿ˜ญ Once you're seated, you remove your shoes and sit on a bench. Please wear socks as the floor is cold without them lol. You order on the tablet but it's only in Korean. The staff did give us an English menu with pictures to help us out! They also give you shrimp chips- yum! I orded Kimchi udon as a SIDE, and it was HUGE - bigger than our main dish! It was also too spicy for me to enjoy it ๐Ÿฅบ. The Bulgogi Kappelini was better, but was lukewarm at best so I couldn't enjoy that either. The slices were very long so we used scissors to cut them into smaller portions. The yama yuzu shibori highball was fantastic! I'd eat here again but with a bigger group to help eat the huge portion sizes.

I recently visited Guju Hongdae with friends for dinner. The stylish interior caught my eye right from the entrance, and the ratten lighting combined with cozy floors seating created a comfortable ambiance.We tried the โ€˜Jingyeokโ€™s Guju Donut,โ€™a donut-shaped shabu-shabu, featured fresh ingredients and a unique broth.Pairing it with various highballs made the evening even more enjoyable.
