Hongdae Korean BBQ Hongik Sutbul Galbi — Restaurant in Seoul

Meat was good but sadly service was terrible. Ordered 2 portions of meat and a steamed egg, meat came but they served rice instead of the egg. Informed them. Then they took away the rice but steamed egg still did not come even when we were finishing our meal. Asked them about it, turns out they forgot about it. Then they asked us to wait 5 mins for it, we agreed. However after 5 mins, it still did not come. We had already finished our meal and didn't want to wait further, wanted to pay the bill and leave. However, when we stood at the cashier wanting to pay, they just ignored us and it was plain that they insisted to serve the egg that we no longer wanted. When the egg finally came, it was of such a low standard as seen from the photo. Have you ever seen Korean Steamed Eggs this manner? It is usually fluffy but this is...

The worst BBQ experience ever. No smiles from staff and boss. I went with my family (with 3 children) for our last dinner while in Seoul. Once seated, we were told to order 5 mains but we ended up ordering 4 mains and 1 side. About half of the pork belly was literally fat!!!! Complaint to the staff but was informed it was too late to change the pork belly. When paying, the male boss never said a word, not even thanked us for coming. The restaurant was full when we dined in and I can tell all were tourist. This place is a tourist trap, so my recommendation is to stay away from this place. It is highly likely you will be disappointed. There are many other BBQ places within the vicinity, there were even 2 other BBQ restaurants next...

Great service, great food, finally a really good meat place where they dont take 20 minutes or touch your food for you or complain when asking for things. VERY GOOD PLACE

Edit: Had to come back after seeing negative reviews saying the service is rushed. This place is an extremely busy place and the fact that they serve you at such speed when there are so many customers says something about their abilities! Would you rather wait for your food or get it exactly when you order?? The only negative thing about this place is that it's a small restaurant and the tables are small. Everything else and the workers are amazing. Food isn't mind blowing but...
