Hongdae Korean BBQ Restaurant beef Andong hanwoo village — Restaurant in Seoul

Today I had a horrible experience in the restaurant. The quality of the meat does not look like in the picture. The taste does not hit the claim. The owner is not as friendly as others' reviews. As a Korean customer at another desk, we didn’t receive a brown, wet towel and many side dishes. I can tell because the Korean group table had dried fish and salad, but it wasn't on my table. She helped another table to grill meat, but she didn’t do so at my table. Even though I’m a foreigner in her restaurant, she didn’t try to express any willingness to help or any sign she was willing to help at least. I ordered three types of meat. She just put a plate of meat on my table and put only the first cut of meat on the grill. After that, I had to do it on my own. She didn’t tell me in English that I must do it alone. But when looking at another table, a Korean customer, she helped a lot. If you are sitting in a very different atmosphere and a very different service like this, I think you will feel her attitude. I tried a lot of Korean blue ribbon on my trip this time, but this restaurant is the first restaurant I questioned about the blue ribbon rewards she got, because this restaurant gave me the worst experience. We had the best service and meat here. Not sure if the owner was the one serving us but she was great! Extremely attentive and welcoming. Her recommendation really was the best. Extremely flavorful and rich. Their chili paste was the best chili paste we have ever tasted… paired with the garlic and it made it even better! It is my first time here in Korea and wanted to try the Korean BBQ so i came here and it was marvelous! The beef here were amazing! So tender and juicy!! Not only that, the main dish like bibimbap, bibimnamyeon, suntufu as well as the vegetables here were nice too! The customer service here were superb, they are super friendly and happy to serve foreigners. Price wise is affordable and worth the experience!
