We stumbled upon this bar in the heart of Hongdae on our last night in Seoul and it was the perfect way to end our trip. All of the Makgeolli is so delicious and brewed in house. They had 4 different types to try, ranging from more sweet to more sour and carbonated depending on how long it was brewed. We tried the spring (sweeter, more classic taste) and the winter (more sour, more carbonated) - the winter flavor was so unique and ended up being my favorite. The owner and staff were all so lovely, kind, and provided great service. Found this hidden gem right at the heart of Hongdae, if you like Makgeolli you have to come to this place, they have this 4 types Makgeolli on their menu Summer Winter Autumn and Spring which we choose 12000won per person unlimted drink for 2hrs thats the deal.

The owner of this place made his makgeolli in house, Mr Hong is very friendly and give explanations about the Makgeolli that he brew inhouse. We had a good chat with him about his passions on making Makgeoli because Makgeoli to him means home, guest and party.
