I had a hankering for authentic Japanese ramen and found this eclectically decorated restaurant in lively and youthful Hongdae district. I ordered the Black Ramen served in a big funnel bowl with a side of spicy scallion. The broth was a bit salty admittedly I had better but nonetheless still satisfying to my palette. My server was sweet and allowed me to charge my dying phone. Portion size was decent and I like the large wooden spoon which felt authentic with my meal. I found this place because a bunch of people were posting on Reddit about it being one of the best ramen shops in Seoul and it did not disappoint. It's a very small shop that serves ramen with medium thick broth with cheap additional side dishes such as gyoza. Their gyoza was done perfectly and had amazing crust on it. A bow is like 8000 won and although it is a small place it doesn't take too too long to get food
