Food was still acceptable though standard has dropped quite a bit. What shocked me the most was the drastic drop in the level of service.
Was there at dinner time and trying to get a refill of the sides such as kimchi, lettuce and garlic for wraps with the meat. Understand that since we were there at the peak dinner hour, the staff are rather overwhelmed with the crowd hence brought the side dish platters to them near the kitchen myself to get the refill. One of the service staff then just told me to go back to my seat and wait which was fine by me as I thought she/other staff will be coming over soon to attend to us.
However what happened was numerous times when they just walk around serving other guest ignoring us even though we asked a couple times. Hence I went to the serving area with the platters again and the SAME staff told me yet again to go back to my seat and wait. Hence bewildered, I did just that. The next thing I know, she just came to the table beside us to clear it and in a nasty tone, told us to finish the 1 slice of lettuce and 2 clove of garlic first before she gets us the refill as though why we kept asking for refill when we still had that one single piece (which we left so as to make it easier to let them know what we want due to the language barrier).
All in all, very sure I will not go back again and I think this is also why the place is entirely populated with only foreigners and no more locals go there from what I can see. It seems the owners no longer care about the quality of food they turn out and the service and are only interested in turning tables fast and getting as many customers in and out of the doors as fast...

Meat was poorly prepared. The pork belly skin’s hair was EXTREMELY APPARENT. Tasted slightly funky and was not a good pork belly at all. Poor managing of the cooking, by the time they come back, the meat is burnt. Occasionally poor handling of the meat, e.g the stone gets swung out onto the table when flipping the meat. High risk of burns and injury to patrons AND they even put back the stone back on the grill…
Service was the worst I have experienced in Korea throughout my stay. Ordered 2 sets of pork belly (which sucked as above, so major regrets) but out came only a very small portion of meat?? Further clarified with the male waiter who confirmed that it was 2 servings as ordered. But 2 other waitresses overheard the conversation and realised that only ONE serving of pork belly was served.. then they served the additional serving as ordered. Why lie about the servings and order? If the 2 waitresses did not bring it up, we would’ve been overcharged for the amount we ate (or what we managed to eat since the food was EXTREMELY underwhelming)

The marinated beef ribs is the bombz! Do try it! I love their Mul Neangmyun too! It’s nice! 1 star review - However, based on recent experience as a solo diner on 12 Jan 2025. I would like to highlight 2 things - poor service & drop in quality of food. The guy handling the charcoal grill is really dangerous like he can be holding 2 charcoal on one hand and expects guests to know and does not say HOT or anything. The auntie seems reluctant to take orders too and kinda throws the side dishes to the table. The food wise, the marination is sweeter & less savory than before & the meat quality is not as tender as last time.
