Pyeonggang Samgyetang — Restaurant in Seoul

We chose this samgyetang restaurant over Tosokchon due to its proximity to Dongdaemun. The restaurant features a clean environment and a pleasant ambiance, with friendly servers, some of whom speak basic Chinese. The menu is also available in English. We were seated on the second floor as the first was full, and we were fortunate to get the last table. Notably, our neighboring patrons were Korean, indicating its popularity among locals.

The atmosphere is refined and nice and quiet. I ordered their most popular signature dish which is the whole chicken in a soup with rice stuffed inside. You pick out the rice and pour it in the soup, eat the meat and then finish off your rice and soup as a congee.

It was really nice and the flavors were deep and rich.
