We recently dined at Saffron and ordered three vegetarian dishes — hummus, tabbouleh, and falafel — along with two Kashmiri breads. The staff and hosts were warm and welcoming, and the service from the waitstaff was great. However, the overall experience left us a bit disappointed.

The restaurant was a little busy when we arrived, which may have contributed to the slow service from the kitchen. The bill came to a surprising 51,000, which felt quite high given the small portion sizes. The hummus was extremely salty — so much so that we had to request lemon to balance the flavor, and surprisingly, we were charged for that too.

We ended up feeling fuller from the bread than the actual dishes. While Saffron might be more suitable for meat eaters, vegetarian options felt overpriced and...

An okay option if you want Mediterranean food and a place that is clean and premium. For me, there was nothing to write home about the food or the service. The food wasn't great. The chicken paratha had no taste. The falafel tasted tangy, which i didn't like, and the Mezze platter was too small for the price. Instead of pita bread, they serve arabian naan, which was basically a light thin tandoori naan. The staff didn't do anything wrong as such, but there was nothing pleasant about their demeanour. We could also hear the kitchen staff yell loudly when we were dining that marred the experience. Overall, if you have no choice and need a place with veg options in indian/ middle-east food, this will do, but not highly...

I am from Toronto. We are a very ethnic city. You can authentic, arab/pakistani/indian/chinese/etc. food in this city. I was disappointed with the food hear. It was kind of arab/pakistani fuzion. Its also quite expensive relative to prices at other restaurants. I feel I didn't get my moneys worth. I got a grill platter, and the lamb wasn't the best quality. it had connective tissue, the stuff you have to spit out. The chicken was overcooked a bit too. Not bad food if your hungry, but its not the greatest either. If it was cheaper I would give 4 starts. However, it is a very nice place. So maybe your paying for that? If you want a decent meal at a nice place, this is a good option if your willing...

First time in this resturant, but I have heard has been a round for a while. SERVICE: the staff is mixed so they can best address Koreans and foreigners, and all of them are super kind. MENU: lots of dishes, some more famous and well known, some more on “I am looking for something authentic” direction. FOOD: simply put! Amazing. The flavors are well balanced among each other. It was a nice discovery behind my office, and I am for sure going back for when I need something more interesting for my meals.

Halal food, good options. They are flexible with the menu. We asked them to change the kebab plate to be mixed (chicken and lamb) instead if all lamb and they were ok with it. The staff is friendly. The wait time for the food is long though. Especially if the resturant is packed. I wish they would change the serving plates, they are starting to flake.
