Bingsu place, based on the images you provided: Sulbing (Location: Assumed South Korea based on Bingsu and text) Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars) As a seasoned Google Maps reviewer and a self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur, I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Sulbing, a bingsu haven, and I'm still dreaming about the delightful experience. Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to their vibrant and enticing menu displays. It's clear they pride themselves on fresh, seasonal fruits. The "Watermelon Sulbing" and "Fresh Melon Sulbing" looked incredibly refreshing, but what truly caught my eye was the "Mango Island" bingsu, prominently featured as a "Recommended" item – and for good reason! My choice, the Mango Island bingsu, arrived looking exactly as magnificent as advertised. It was a generous, artfully crafted mountain of finely shaved ice, absolutely overflowing with perfectly ripe, cubed mangoes. The vibrant orange of the mangoes was beautifully contrasted with what appeared to be diced strawberries or a similar red fruit, adding another layer of sweetness and a pleasant textural variety. Topping it all off was a scoop of what I believe was mango ice cream or sorbet, and a dollop of creamy white ice cream, creating a symphony of tropical flavors. What really elevated this bingsu, beyond the main presentation, were the thoughtful accompaniments. A small pitcher of condensed milk was provided, allowing for personalized sweetness – a crucial detail for bingsu lovers. But the real surprise and delight was the separate bowl of what looked like sago pearls in a creamy, coconut-infused liquid. This unexpected addition provided a fantastic textural contrast and a refreshing, subtly sweet complement to the main bingsu. The quality of the ingredients was evident; the mangoes were fresh, sweet, and juicy, and the shaved ice itself was incredibly fine, melting delicately in the mouth. The portion size was substantial, easily shareable, making it perfect for a couple or a small group. Sulbing has truly mastered the art of bingsu. From the inviting atmosphere (implied by the clean presentation and inviting menu) to the impeccable quality and thoughtful presentation of their desserts, it's an experience not to be missed. If you're in Korea and craving a refreshing, delicious, and visually stunning dessert, look no further than Sulbing. Highly, highly recommended!

I recently visited a Sulbing shop in Hongdae, and it was an absolute delight. Sulbing is a popular Korean dessert cafe specializing in bingsu, a shaved ice dessert topped with a variety of sweet and delicious toppings. The shop had a trendy and inviting atmosphere, with modern decor and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing great customer service throughout my visit. The highlight of the experience was, of course, the bingsu. I opted for the classic Injeolmi Bingsu, which consisted of fluffy shaved ice topped with a generous amount of sweetened soybean powder, chewy rice cakes, and a drizzle of condensed milk. The presentation was visually appealing, and the taste was absolutely heavenly. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, and the combination of flavors and textures was perfect. It was a delightful balance of sweetness and creaminess that left me craving for more. The menu offered a wide variety of bingsu flavors, ranging from fruity options like mango and strawberry to unique combinations such as green tea and red bean. There were also additional toppings available for customization, allowing visitors to create their own personalized bingsu. The prices at the Sulbing shop were reasonable, considering the quality and portion size of the bingsu. It was a great value for the money, and the portion sizes were perfect for sharing or indulging on your own. Overall, the Sulbing shop in Hongdae provided a fantastic bingsu experience. From the inviting atmosphere to the friendly service and the delightful flavors, it was a truly enjoyable visit. Whether you're a fan of traditional flavors or looking to try something new, a visit to a Sulbing shop in Hongdae is a must for any dessert lover.

LOVE IT. There was a long queue due to the August Heat but the turnover time is pretty fast. The melon bingsu appears to be seasonal and I ordered the one with grape! At first glance it looks like grape but when you put it into your mouth, it will burst into a grape juice. Apparently it's a ball of ice made to look like grape!!! This was definitely a surprise factor. I also ordered the injeolmi together with the melon just tot ry it together. The taste was very delicate compared to the melon but it was still very good. Offers a balance compared to the melon which may appear to be overly sweet. What I liked is that, under the layers of ice, there is still injeolmi powder and even for the melon, they have grape syrup below. It's not just a block of shaved ice. But the flavor still continues even as your topping might have already disappeared. This enables continuity of enjoyment even when there are no more ingredients, the shaved ice is still delicious. The only gripe is that the bathroom is horrendous. Enter with caution. They really need to clean it more often.
