I ate here last night with my friend. We were expecting a really nice meal as the proprietor had encouraged us to go in and was extremely confident of his restaurant and the quality of the food. Sadly, he is misguided. It is a shame because the waitress was so obliging and they really do seem to think that they offer a high standard of food. They honestly don't. When I told the owner in the nicest possible way that my Bolognese was so disappointing and had obviously come out of a tin he seemed really hurt. I told him that I was not meaning it nastily and that I really he thought he should know. He just walked away wounded and said that he knows they make it fresh and have been doing this same recipe for 19 years. For the steak alone, this place is worth a visit. €10 for a simple, well cooked, tasty steak, cooked to your liking, with a fresh salad consisting of tomato, onion, sweetcorn and carrot, and some French fries. Each time I visited the steak was excellent . Plenty of sauces to add on top if that's what you like, and fillet steaks as well, but the sirloin on offer was stunning. Great restaurant which we always visit when in Tenerife. Food is always good and the service excellent. Lisa is as mad as a box of frogs! In a good way, of course... 🤣 It is nice to have such personality. Brings the evening to life. We've always found the food here be cooked well and the service prompt and attentive. And if you come around sunset you'll have some amazing views over the bay 😁 In fact, come for breakfast and you'll have some amazing views over the bay! Very happy to unreservedly recommend...
