La Grotta Azzurra — Restaurant in Adeje

I chose the place because of the positive reviews, but it didn’t live up to expectations at all. We were the only guests there when we arrived (5 people), and there were two waiters. Still, the service was minimal. They took our order but never came back to check on us, and they never brought a drink that one person in our group had ordered. The tables were also in poor condition and had no tablecloths.

Everyone ordered pizzas, which were okay. However, I’ve never seen toppings handled like that before — everything was piled onto one spot instead of being spread evenly across the pizza. So the ham was in one corner, the mushrooms in another, and so on. The one positive thing about the place is the decent view of the sea, but otherwise, I’d recommend going...

All around good evening here with our two kids. No kids menu but the staff were accommodating with offers of a small portion of pasta or something like that aimed at kids. In the end the kids ordered an adult pizza which was 100% polished off in record time and my wife and I ordered pasta dishes and a side of focaccia bread which was all super tasty and delicious. The staff were super patient with the kids, asking them directly for their food orders which is always a positive sign.

We’ll definitely be back again, great food, friendly staff, nice mellow atmosphere for a quiet meal...

The best italian restaurant you will find in Tenerife.

Not only the food is great but also the service is excellent. We went there without booking the table and the restaurant was full. The manager fixed the table for us within 10 minutes and while we were waiting he gave us some Cava to enjoy. The food is exeptional. Really good pizza, gnocchi and absolutely outstanding homemade ravioli. We took the one with salvia and butter and it was delicious.
