This is one of the many terraces that have that deep blue ocean view. Eating with a view when you're on holiday adds extra points to your experience (at least for me). Eating indoors or outdoors without view is something that you do all year round. Sure, if the place you're going to has excellent, unequaled food, then it's definitely a no brainer, but the food here was really good.

I've had steak which came with some sides such as mixed veggies, canarian potatoes and probably the most delicious sauce I had ever. Dipping the steak in that sauce literally caught my taste buds off guard. Didn't expect it to be that delicious of a sauce.

The reason I'm only giving it a 3 star is because of some minor technicalities such as: a bit of a long of wait time, for everything.. we had to wait I think about 10 minutes just for someone to notice we were there (and the place wasn't packed full of people). Then the drinks came late, and when they came they got them mixed up with another table's. They forgot to bring up some drinks that we ordered but added them to the bill (they removed them in the end but this affects the overall experience.. if you know what I'm saying). Needless to say the food also came up late and we were famished.

So maybe I'll re review this next time I visit but it's gotta be a 3 from me now, not because of the quality of the food, drinks, the place overall which is really good and everything is clean and modern, but because of the customer experience and the staff, which are not bad people, don't get me wrong. And I understand them, but you gotta take care of these things if you want to set yourself apart from...

We booked the New Year's menu and were, on the whole, only partially satisfied. After a nice reception, they initially looked for our reservation in vain. This was then reflected at the end, as the advance payment for the evening was not earmarked, which can happen. The ambience of Terrazza del Mar is unique and modern, which is why its attractive location scores points with many tourists and locals. Sitting directly under a jukebox, the New Year's dinner was no longer a great experience, as the music was extremely loud and it was not possible to talk at one's own table, which was a pity! At our table, some of the table decorations and the napkins were missing. The staff were very attentive that evening and always kindly provided water and wine refills. As for the food, we were ultimately a little disappointed. Apart from the cooking points, all the dishes that reached our table were cold to lukewarm at most. On the whole, the team was always courteous, but not well coordinated. The attempt to conjure up a gala menu was, in our opinion, unfortunately unsuccessful. For 80€ per person, we should have expected a little more.

CONCLUSION: A great location for the young audience, which wants to show itself and present itself with an attempt to offer a particularly good cuisine, which at the end of the day rather gets the grade...

Only had a drink here so can't comment on the food. Drinks were fine and reasonably priced which is remarkable given the obvious fairly recent investment in the place. The footprint of the place has been doubled at least, maybe trebled and there's even a rooftop terrace on the kitchen roof. Overall they must have spent millions on the place......and it's paid off. The place is stunning! Not a sniff of the plastic chairs and tables so common to the resorts open air establishments. Chairs & couches are soft & comfy and tables are low, wooden & topped with thick heavy glass. Just have a look at the photos of the place, they'll convey the look of the place better than my descriptions. They are well staffed & those staff seem happy, polite & efficient. The outside perimeter (The walls of the restaurant) are largely glass, allowing you to behold a sight most people can only see once a year on holiday (If they are in a position to actually have a holiday in these difficult times). The restaurant is in an elevated position right on the beach. Possibly 20m above sea level, so the view of the beach and ocean is wonderful, with the silhouette of La Gomera island on the horizon. We were only there for a couple of hours but those two hours were definitely a major highlight of the whole holiday. If you are in the area you MUST...

This place has great sunset views… and that’s about it. There’s nothing else worth seeing or experiencing here. I went for dinner, and the girl taking our order had an attitude. I let it slide, knowing it’s not an easy job. I asked if they only had sangria or if they also offered “tinto de verano.” She replied that they were the same thing. I might not be from Spain, but I’ve had enough of both to know there’s a difference. We ordered croquetas, paella, and some other drinks. The croquetas came out almost immediately, which should have been a red flag—they were bland and disgusting (we couldn’t even finish them). After waiting an hour and 20 minutes with no one checking on us, I finally asked about the paella, only to be told the girl never placed the order. The guy who responded was slightly apologetic, but that was it. We left, and one of the servers even smirked as we walked out. For context, I’m a native Spanish speaker, so there was no chance of a language misunderstanding. I’m genuinely baffled that this place has such a high rating. Save yourself the trip and don’t bother visiting.

so.. we went here for dinner. Pasta with seafood was spicy (i like it because i eat spicy but this is not how they should made it). Pizza with shrimps and mushrooms: turns out that it's coming with tomatoes and some other vegetables (weird, but comestibile) **note: the person who aet this pizza didn't felt good the next day (nothing very serious). The burger (black angus with black bread or so) was ok but they missed some ingredients (pimientos de padron) and we found frozen potates in the french fries. Other than those pictures we had some steak that 'well done' still had blood. It was the worst dinner we had in Tenerife!! so i won't recommend this place for dinner, just for hang out, a drink or for the view!
