Bocaditos y Mar — Restaurant in Adeje

I am so happy that I know Monica and Mauro, owners of this restaurante. I work next to do place and my every morning start with coffee, croissant and fresh squized orange juice from their place. Which gives me a perfect beginning for my hard working day. Every day they have a smile reserved for me and they always wish me a good working day. Ofcourse this place is not about coffee or juice, it is about delicious food. First time i have eaten here with my boyfriend and one friend in december 2018. We ordered to share, by the men choice it was octopus gallega style, risotto with citrus fruits (agrumi) and prawns was my whish and we all agreed that with that goes good old caprese salad. Octopus was really good, salad was fresh and big not like other places (four pieces of tomato and two peaces of mozzarela). But the risotto was so good that I had to order it for home next week for a little private celobration. Last saturday happened the best experience for me with delicious meal called paella. In the job break colleague and me decided to eat something in the restaurant. We already ate a little bit sushi that day so we decided to stay in that tone. Monica served us the most delicious paella in whole Tenerife, and trust me I tried a lot of them here. If you could eat the haven this is what it would taste like. I have never written a single review in my life, but this place… it deserves it more than any other place. The owners, out of this world… so kind, welcoming, talkative and fun! They gave us some amazing advices for what to visit on the island. And the food - AMAZING! I never order seafood ever (other than fried calamari) because for me “it looks yucky”… but my boyfriend wanted a seafood paella, so I caved. And let me tell you it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted in my entire life. We waited a little longer because it’s made from scratch, and they warned us about that. But first of all, it was more than worth it and second of all, the owners were chatting with us and we had so much fun because of them, so the time actually went by so so fast. Bocaditos y Mar was one of the most memorable dinner experiences of our entire trip to Tenerife. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the kindest, sweetest owners who made us feel as though we had stepped into their home. Their warmth set the tone for an evening that was truly special for us.

Every dish we tried was absolutely incredible, prepared with so much care and flavor. The paella was the highlight—perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and easily the best we had during our entire time in Spain. You must try the Tuna Tartare…simply WOW! The sangria was another standout…amazing and hands down the best I’ve tasted anywhere.

This restaurant is a true gem. It’s not just about the food (which is exceptional), but also the hospitality and heart behind it.
