We visited this place two years ago when we last visited Tenerife. Returning this time we found it had changed management. This place has an amazing beach front/chilled/relaxed feel (although it’s not sat on the beach front).
Due to Covid restrictions they do not have a paper menu, instead, they have a QR code on the table which you can scan with most camera phones. This launches their website menu. A genius idea which means they can update their menu easily without the cost of having to keep modifying the menu/sticking bits of paper on old menus (you know the ones I mean!)
The service is fast efficient and friendly. We have visited 5 times now; the day we arrived (lunch) and several times for breakfast. Whilst there were staffing challenges which caused delays (and loss of customers) on the first breakfast visit we made; since then, there has been no issue. Every new business had teething problems and that is all this was.
The food here is simply, healthy and tasty: a great blend of flavours. I’ve had a burger and several smoothie breakfast bowls. The food is presented beautifully and quirkily; my smoothie breakfast bowl arrived in a hand carved wooden bowl; beautifully decorated with fruit, granola and an edible flower.
My hubby ate waffles and french toast; with no complaints about the food. He loved the waffles; complimenting how fresh and crispy they were.
Highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re looking for something more than the ‘standard British breakfast abroad’ (btw they...
Read moreWent for breakfast here 3 times as a group of 8.It did not go well 1st time was okay service was slow we were served by a man with black hair but food was good a bit cold and it was our first breakfast here. 2nd time we were served by two women one of which was very rude and abrupt.none the less we got our food eventually after again a very long wait and it was quite cold. Some items were not available. 3rd time which was our last time and really put us off going again. There was no sausages left no omelettes left (although you could get extra eggs instead of sausages on your fry but couldn’t make an omelette?!?)there was no pancakes or waffles left only crepes. I ordered an American crepe which was supposed to be served with bacon and maple syrup. When I got my breakfast I was very y pleased as there was no bacon and it was in fact honey not maple syrup. I asked the waitress for a new dish as I do not like honey and there was no bacon. She came back with the same dish just added bacon on top. I then had to become firm with her and I ordered a completely new dish. At this stage the rest of our group had finished their meals. The issue was resolved but we left that morning unpleased and hungry having to get a meal somewhere else very soon after. I would not recommend. There was only 3 tables in the restaurant...
Read moreMe and my partner came into the restaurant yesterday at 4pm and we was greeted by a rude waitress who was clearly deciding if the restaurant was going to serve us food or not, on the spot. She then said ‘sorry; we close at 5’ this was an hour later - we could have eaten.
We then came back today and was greeted by the same waitress; my partner had questions about the menu as she is vegan (which they advertise they have) online - the same waitress started to roll her eyes at my partner.
We ordered an ice soya coffee…to which we was brought out a hot coffee and a glass of ice and was expected to basically make the drink ourself by pouring the hot coffee over ice…
The food was really nice, surprisingly but the lack of customer service is utterly disappointing. The look I was given when asked for toilet roll, was like I had killed their family member! To which then they started to laugh at me and look at me with a patronising glance.
Won’t be...
