It was my first morning in Tenerife. I exited the hotel, walking nervously as I cursed myself for not bringing my sunglasses. I arrived at my destination, Bike Point, 5 minutes before official opening time. A member of staff advised visiting the cafe on the corner. I entered TIME brunch & coffee, warmly welcomed by the staff member. I rudely gawped at the espresso machine as I tried to picture a Spanish translation for my order. Un cafe Flat White con Leche de Soya. I light-heartedly said “I would love the best Latte art”. The inside was bright, airy, fresh with a hint of greenery and swathes of large, hung modern art prints. There were freshly baked croissants available too. I stared at the Flatwhite as it arrived. It was more beautiful that most coffees poured back home. I humbly thanked the waiter. The coffee was an Italian blend, dark and bold. Thanks to the texture of the milk, I enjoyed it. The price for a soya milk flat white, €1.50. There you go, Tenerife does do quality coffee. I may yet find an artisan roasted blend here too. The search continues.

Charming Morning at Time & Brunch Coffee, especially if you want something a bit different from a full English. The menu offers a delightful array of breakfast options, and we opted for the banana on toast with a pistachio base and white chocolate drizzle, and the acai bowl. The banana on toast was a masterpiece - the bread was perfectly toasted, with just the right amount of crunch, and the bananas were fresh and perfectly ripe. The addition of a drizzle of white chocolate was lovely. It was a simple yet incredibly satisfying dish. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the acai bowl, and it's safe to say it was a work of art. The acai base was velvety smooth and bursting with flavor, topped with an assortment of fresh fruits and crunchy granola. It was a vibrant and nutritious start to the day. Prices are reasonable, offering great value. I will definitely be returning for another breakfast.

We decided to have a quick bite for breakfast here on our way to Siam Water Park (which is about 5 mins across the road) and enjoyed a couple of bruschetta offerings. One portion with avocado, smoked salmon and grated egg and the other cheery toms and goats cheese. Must be good if the coppers make it their local 😃 (it seemed like a local spot for quite few people actually) I can see why it has such a high ratings, 4.9 at the time of writing, as the feel was organic, healthy and very tasty. Well worth a visit in my book.

Staff was obviously rude to us. We wanted to sit for a while, charge our phones and drink some coffees. Firstly, when asked about WiFi pasword, they responded that they dont have it, even though we clearly saw Time WiFi available. Then, when barista brought the coffees, he was almost throwing them at the table, spilling a little bit of its contents. Sugars were also thrown aggressively at the table. Lastly, we got the bill without asking for it, with 1€ more than it should cost. I suppose it might have to do with our backpacks, travellers are probably not welcome in this caffeteria, but it shouldnt happen.

Edit: Coffees were...
