EL Arrozal (Parque Santiago V) — Restaurant in Arona

Quite disappointed in our experience of this establishment. My son had spyed on our first night here that this place did Bubble Waffles. So a couple of nights later we ordered one, so I asked the lady if it would be OK to sit down at a table to wait for it and she nodded. So we put our order in and sat at a table near the back of the restaurant which I'd guess was about 75% full. So plenty of space for others coming in. A man approached us and shoved a menu at us asking if it was drinks or food. I politely said we would be sitting for a bubble waffle and was about to order a drink when he abruptly said 'Not for bubble waffle, you stand and wait for that. Not sit down'. Now if he had been less abrasive I would have apologised and carried on with the order...surely €6.99 & a beer is better than an empty table? As he had been so rude (in my opinion) I said cancel the order and we left. We came here for a quick dinner and it was anything but that! Over 40 minutes waiting for 2 pizzas, a coke and a water. We were left with no explanation for the wait and no apology for any of the delays. It took the staff over 30 minutes to notice we were sitting without even a drink on the table despite us trying to get their attention multiple times. Once they realised they had completely forgotten our order, our waitress tried everything to avoid coming near our table including asking a different member of staff to bring us our bill. When she did bring the bill it was dropped on the corner of the table without a word and she was out of sight again. Once again we had to ask a staff member to pay as our waitress continued to ignore our table. Definitely will not be back, avoid...

Very average place to eat! I believe that you can find much better restaurants... The big plus is the location and many tables. I ordered pizza and pasta Bolognese. Unfortunately it wasn't nice and tasty. Very fatty because of a very big layer of cheap cheese🤢. Not recommended at all. It was a bit cold as well. I wasn't able to eat. The waiter took my cutlery set while eating 😳! Pasta was better and more tasty than pizza. Beer €5,50, pizza 14,50, pasta ab €15.oo, coca cola 330 ml- €3,50.
