Cervecería La Milla — Restaurant in Arona

DO NOT ORDER A PINT FROM THIS PLACE!!! We had been here about 3 times and service was OK, the entertainment was good and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. It wasn't until myself, my wife and two kids got a table by the front door, I ordered a pint as I had the previous two times being there, and when I looked in I could see the servers bring the left over lager from the tables and leave them at the bar.. The bar man grabbed a clean glass poured the left over pints into the clean glass and the topped the pint up with fresh lager... I WAS DISGUSTED!!!.

I called the server over and told her about it, she understood like it wasn't the first time someone pulled them on it. She went into the bar man and seemed to explain to him what i had seen and to be honest he didn't looked bothered. We left, and will never be back this is extremely low in my book. Bear in mind this is by no means the cheapest place along the strip and they are doing the likes of this...

MY ADVICE...

Came here just over a week ago With my young daughter. I asked for a table for two, and as someone was just leaving their table, the older waiter picked up the plates and sat us down straight away, without wiping down nor give any menus. Moments later he returned and asked what we’d like to order. I managed to get so far as ordering drinks a pizza for my daughter before he walked off before I had even ordered my own food….. all without having a menu. Drinks and the pizza did arrive quickly after, however the quality was awful! My daughter wouldn’t eat more than three bites as the cheese was so thick and greasy. I first assumed that the waiter perhaps just wasn’t a fan of us as we weren’t going to be big “money makers”, however he also treated the young couple infront of us with no respect either and ignored them multiple times when they tried to grab any employees attention.

Never been treated so appallingly in my life, first time I’ve never left a tip...

Terrible place! The waiters came to our table fairly quick giving us the food and drinks menu which was nice but then they came back a little too quick asking us what we wanted when we didn't even get the chance to properly review the menu. When we asked for some more time to make a decision they all just disappeared.. after waiting for a while we eventually got our beers and it was a warm 25cl Carlsberg beer for €4.50! My dad got a 33cl San Miguel (also warm) for the same price.. we paid a total of €9 for 2 small beers that weren't properly cooled and thus not tasty.

The waiters looked like they hated their jobs and weren't very nice. We ended up paying with a €10 bill and the €1 change came in 2x20cent 4x10cent and 4x5cent coins. Absolutely ridiculous and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

I've had a lovely time on this beautiful island, the food and drinks have been great but this place is a MAJOR scam...
