Mini Golf Santiago: A Fun Experience for Kids, but Overcrowded and Pricey
My family and I recently visited Mini Golf Santiago, excited for a day of fun-filled miniature golf. The entrance fee of 42 euros for 2 adults and 2 children seemed reasonable at first glance. However, as we arrived at the location, we were taken aback by the sheer number of people present. The place was packed, and it was evident that it might lead to some challenges throughout the day.
We were assigned to course 3, which consisted of 18 holes. While the layout and design were decent, it was evident that the course lacked the number of obstacles we expected for the price we paid. Only about 5 holes featured exciting obstacles like loop-to-loops and tunnels, leaving us slightly disappointed.
On the plus side, the mini golf facility did offer a good selection of clubs for children. Our kids had the option to choose between a softer foam-covered putter or a shorter metal one, which catered well to their different preferences and abilities.
For children, the mini golf experience was indeed entertaining. The course was challenging enough for them to enjoy but not overwhelmingly difficult. However, the downside to the day was the overwhelming number of visitors. The crowded venue resulted in a significant backlog, leading to considerable waiting times between holes. At times, we found ourselves standing around for more extended periods, which took away from the overall experience.
Despite the enjoyable aspects of Mini Golf Santiago, it falls short of being the best mini golf venue due to the overcrowding issue and the limited number of exciting obstacles on the course. If you're planning to visit with kids, they are likely to have fun, but be prepared for potential delays due to the number of people playing. For a more optimal experience, consider visiting during less busy hours or exploring other mini golf venues with a wider variety of obstacles for a more competitive and...
Read moreFirst time visit and it was a good little round of mini golf we did the 18 hole! Quite easy to do, so end up going round at a pace because of it. Have been to harder ones. But overall a good round of mini golf. The setting is great with the plants and water features! I would return but I think the price could be lower, as it's not that hard so you end up going round faster than usual even on the 18 hole. I think you should be able to go round twice because of it. The lady that was at the counter was friendly and...
Read moreWe always visit this course when we are in Tenerife. It’s nice to see the variety of art statues, water features and plants whilst playing and as there was a groups of us, we always have fun.
Yes there can be a backlog on some of the holes but it does say on the back of the play cards that if you go over 6 shots that is it and accept the score. Of course everyone plays differently.
The only thing I would at that could be improved is that most of the course is in the sun and it would be good to have some spots...
