Had weird rules like not allowed to mingle between tables. We were a group of seven, with some more people in the line outside. When we arrived we had two tables next to each other and one person from the other table came to our table (we were two people at our table). He sat with us on the recommendation of the bar staff because they suggested it would be good to save the seats for our friends outside. Then they took our drink order and then a moment later said our friends outside can't come in. We asked why and were told a bar team member said the man who moved to our table was a problem, even though the staff suggested he move to our table. The man outside pushed the people from our group out of line. We are a group of middle-aged MBA students attending a school conference, not a rowdy group causing any trouble. We came to sit, talk and enjoy cocktails. The response from Bob implies we were causing trouble and we were a group of 20, not true, so I'm updating the review with the facts. This place is trying too hard to be exclusive and hidden, but it is just not well done. The drink was tasty but how can you enjoy a drink when the staff has been so rude. When the bar tender delivered our two drinks they looked the same so we asked which was which, he got impatient with us in seconds and told us to figure it out, put them in front of us and left. Bob's reply about us being 20 people, not true. My review is fair. The limit of 6 people to enter was never mentioned until now. WORST EXPERIENCE DO NOT RECOMMEND! I recently visited this place and it was the worst experience we've ever had in Barcelona. We ordered 15€ cocktails that were watery, so we asked the waitress if they could be changed. Instead of addressing our concern professionally, the waitress (with black hair, very short on one side with dreadlocks) called the bar woman over, and they began talking about us negatively in Spanish, right in front of us. One of our friends is Spanish and understood everything they were saying. The bar woman then approached us, shouting and pointing her finger in my face, insisting that was how she makes drinks. I repeatedly asked her to lower her voice and show some respect to her customers, but she continued shouting and pointing fingers. Eventually, she just grabbed our drinks from our hands and handed us the bill. When we asked to speak to the manager, she first claimed to be the manager, then admitted she wasn’t. What a behavior!! I was excited to bring my gf on a date here. We were welcome nicely by our waiter and we ordered two drinks and olives. We were chatting away and enjoying our drinks untill the second waiter comes along and told me to move down in order to sit another couple literally on top of our table. Bear in mind that it’s Wednesday and the place had literally only 3 tables occupied. I wasn’t happy with it and proceed to move to another table given that the place is empty to have a bit of privacy with my gf. At this point the second waiter has the audacity to tell us that we have to move again because the table we took is for 7. Again completely empty place. At this point we quickly downed our drinks and left. I was going to bring friends tomorrow to this place but definitely not worth it. Super expensive drink and overrated not to mention rude waiters that are meant to give you the right service to make you come back.
