I recently dined at Boro Bar in Barcelona, and I must say, it was a captivating experience. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between modern and retro aesthetics, creating an amazing and stunning ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable meal.
The service at Boro Bar was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and ready to offer recommendations. We started with the bravas, and I was pleasantly surprised by their unique and exquisite flavor. It's a must-try dish. The steak tartar was another highlight of the meal, and it truly lived up to the "amazing" description.
However, the real star of the show was the grilled artichoke. The chargrilled flavor was absolutely amazing and added a delightful twist to this classic dish. It's clear why it's considered a winner.
On the downside, the ceviche left something to be desired. It had a slightly fishy taste, which may have been due to the roe used. The shrimp roll, while good, could benefit from a bit more flavor to make it truly exceptional.
Despite these minor drawbacks, my overall experience at Boro Bar was wonderful. I've heard great things about their Basque cheesecake, which I plan to try next time. If you're in Barcelona and looking for a restaurant with a fantastic ambiance, great service, and a mix of delightful dishes, Boro Bar is definitely...
Read moreHad sort of a strange experience here. Really wanted to like it since the staff were really nice, the drinks were good, and they let us sit at the bar to wait for a table rather than turning us away like other places had on a busy Friday night (since we were here for a short visit and hadn’t made reservations anywhere). What was not great about the experience was that once a table freed up and we were seated, the waitress brought over a second round of cocktails without us asking. We weren’t even finished with our first round yet and she took the drinks away and left us with the new ones before we could object. At first I thought she had mixed our table up with someone else’s but they were the exact same drinks we’d ordered earlier. We were ultimately charged for both which was slightly annoying considering I rarely order a second round or even the same thing twice. Additionally, while the potato dish we had was good, I’m fairly certain the scallop ceviche gave us food poisoning. It’s the only thing I can think of that we both ate that would have made us sick unfortunately. Considering how popular this place is, maybe our experience was a fluke but I much preferred other places we ate so thought I would...

Boro Restaurant Review: Korean BBQ Pork Steals the Show
If you're looking for a standout dining experience in the city, Boro is the place to be. This modern Asian-inspired eatery offers a variety of dishes, but the real star of the show is their Korean BBQ Pork.
Served sizzling hot with a perfect char, the Korean BBQ Pork is tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The marinade is a harmonious blend of sweet and savory, with just the right hint of smokiness. The dish is accompanied by traditional Korean sides like kimincho, adding layers of texture and flavor to the meal.
The ambiance at Boro is sleek yet inviting, making it ideal for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is attentive and eager to recommend dishes, ensuring every visit feels personalized.
While their menu boasts a variety of tempting options, the Korean BBQ Pork is the one dish I’d return for time and time again. If you're visiting Boro, don’t miss it—it’s a culinary delight that leaves a...
