Read moreThe place isn't meant to host romantic dinners, instead it is perfect for noisy, happy groups of people, families celebrating, friends meeting after years. The place is spacious, extending to three, continuously connected spaces. The walls are painted in a warm red that contrasts pleasantly with the dark color and the severe lines of the furniture. It could well be mistaken it for the dining room of a college in its minimality and the sparsity of decorative elements. In the center of the space there are, enclosed in a glass patio, the remnants of the brewery that occupied in the past the same place. To tell you the truth, I am not the right person to comment on the quality of the beer brewed here. I never liked beer and never managed to at least get used to it. But I have friends who are really 'addicted' to it and they assure me, that beerwise this place it is worth the visit. I liked the food. It is the array of popular tapas, well prepared. I especially liked the 'ensalada rusa', the Russian salad and the hamburgers. I was delighted with the young, black cladded crew, its staff, as they were in good mood and smiling 😉 Dogs allowed and...
Read moreTerrible experience during our team building activity. We booked and paid in advance the guided tour around the brewery and the dinner for the entire team, and the day before someone got sick and we had to cancel 1 person out of 16. We got there, and not only they didn't offered the beer tasting anymore during the tour, but also the service during the dinner was the worse I ever had in Barcelona (and I am a local). They ensured us we would get the money back of person cancelled, BUT the following day they refused to reimburse it. They also put us in separate tables, and never helped to put them together, also we sent some dietary requirements (vegetarian, glutten free, etc) and they didn't prepare anything in advance. Also they brought the desserts (ice-cream) while we had all the plates still on the table and no one came to clean, so all the ice-creams were served melted due to all the wait. Really bad experience and a shame for an iconic place in Barcelona like this one. Also, the food, totally overprized, and they are not picking up the phone to express our bad experience and get our money back as...
