FESTIN – Burgers & Beers — Restaurant in Barcelona

This place was delicious. I was checking the Google reviews and we decided to go here for our first dinner in Barcelona. The food did not disappoint, we got the burger (guerrera) and the veal Milanese sandwich(brufon?), both were some of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. They fresh bake their own bread for the sandwiches and make everything to order. you’ll be sitting there waiting for the food for a bit but it’s a bar so you can grab a drink while you wait. We ended the meal by getting a free dessert that our server said she made. She may have also been the part owner?, not sure. It was also very, very good. A torte like, chocolate layered dessert with cake and soft mousse/cream layers and shaved dark chocolate on top, could have been in a bake shop. This place should be packed all day long, I’m not sure why it wasn’t. Anyone reading this should make it a point to stop here for a meal if visiting Barcelona or if you live...

This restaurant was incredible. I think this was the best burger I ever have eaten. The fries are also to die for. The sweet potato and regular potato were served hot, crispy and nicely salted.

We ordered the mensajera burgers — the bbq and festin sauce was the perfect flavors of sweet, salty and smoky. The bacon was perfectly cooked & the meat was so juicy. The bun was soft and soaked up the juices well. I also liked the homemade pickles; they had a perfect fresh and crisp flavor that balanced the rich flavors.

The service was great & our server was attentive and kind. They also had a happy hour deal posted on the blackboard where from 6-7:30 it was 2 for 1 drinks when we were there.

Overall definitely come here!!!

Btw we were there at 8pm on a Saturday and there were free...

The burgers were great! Fresh ingredients, good flavor combination, the ingredients were also handled with respect, good seasoned and the portions are perfect for the price. The fries are fresh and with a good salt level which is were many restaurants fail. Nothing to complain about the food or the beverages.

I don’t give 5 starts because when we arrive the restaurant was closed even when it was meant to be opened. Half hour later when the service arrived and they opened no one said, sorry for the delay or anything, they just said “are you here to eat?” To the almost 10 people that were waiting. If this would have been handled differently I would for sure give 5 stars.

Other than that, great place, so if you are looking for a burger and your are around, definitely...
