Do not waste your time with this restaurant!! The worst “Chinese” me and my partner have ever ate , I couldn’t wait to get back to Scotland to have a proper Chinese meal.
We arrived and the place was completely empty , lady gave us a Chinese/Spanish tick off menu which I had to translate from another “English” menu. On menu it showed a crispy beef dish called “spicy beef” we asked for this but with chicken instead of beef and was on menu as “spicy chicken” but apparently these are 2 completely different dishes yet same names.. I made sure several times asking there was no sauce and that it was dry salt and pepper chicken the young lady who spoke very little English was nice enough and said it had no sauce.
She brought out a dish from the chicken looking nothing like the “spicy beef” drowning in a sauce we took one bite and the chicken had bones init. We kindly told her this isn’t what we asked for and that it had a sauce she spoke to kitchen staff. Old Chinese lady came out of the kitchen shouting the odds at the waitress (clearly about us) and went into the toilets. They changed our meal to the spicy beef which was like the picture however it was extremely over cooked and not very nice.
We also ordered pork ribs which we didn’t even touch as they looked vile , 2 noodles which is noodles in a broth full of fat and some sort of meat on the top 🤮
I visited the toilets which were very dirty and no hand dryer. I’m very surprised we weren’t poisoned by this place.
We left all the food , paid and left. Luckily the bill wasn’t too expensive. Best thing about this place was leaving and getting a...

I'd like to address some common complaints about Chinese restaurants:
"The service is bad/not what I expected.": Many Chinese restaurants are opened by immigrants who had to learn a second, third, or even fourth language. That being said, it's not uncommon for Chinese restaurant staff to be rude/overbearing. Really, as a true Chinese foodie I look for comments about rude staff as a benchmark of whether the restaurant is legitimate. Obviously, in a hyper competitive market like mainland China in other Asian countries great service is a way for restaurants to stand out. Most restaurants are just trying to do their best, so please have patience.
"The food is greasy.": As someone who loves European food, I can tell you that there is SO MUCH FAT. It's what makes food taste good! Cheese is greasy, jamon is greasy, and croissants are basically half butter. People are just not used to how fats are incorporated into Chinese cuisine. Fats and oils are mediums used to unite the unlimited combination of ingredients and flavors into a tasty dish. There are definitely Chinese restaurants who pride themselves in using less fats and oils but your best bet would be to find someone to make you a home cooked meal.
About this restaurant: I appreciate that this restaurant is open at non-Spanish hours, like between breakfast time and non and during siesta. On a rainy day, the wonton soup was perfect. This is where real Chinese people go to eat. I would recommend! It's 5 minutes away from the bus station and...
Read moreNever ever again will I set foot in this establishment in my life. We sat at the table and immediately were smacked in the back of our heads with the menu. We ordered our food and the waitress took our orders written on the back of her hand. She then spat on the table saying that it was a good luck omen for the chinese new year. Our food came drenched in oil and we were given a packet of MSG to sprinkle on top. I witnessed a maggot in my fried rice. My food poisoning is so severe that I threw up blood. Do not go here if you value...
